This thing has the easiest stock-grind of any vehicle in the game, spaded it in 2 nights. Wouldnt say its too quick, when every match you go against Wolfpacks, CVs, Rooikats, Radkampfwagens, etc who ultimately beat you to a sick flanking spot. Ive had better results with this thing as a 2nd spawn or frontline support. DEFINITELY dont buy it. Join a high player count/activity squadron and take a break from the game. I got mine researched in a little over a month with no thought towards it.
It does amazing in cities hiding in alley ways. I have gotten a lot of sniper kills with the ATGMS right out the gate in a new match. Double fire them as an insurance policy on the kill.

The proxy-fuse missile is so much better than the regular ATGM. Especially at top tier where you won't be able to pen some tanks. With it's 9 kg of explosive filler it's almost guaranteed to overpressure. Light vehicles and SPAA stand no chance, tanks can maybe get lucky on 1 or 2 missiles but a full barrage of 4 missiles is game over for them and helicopters... well... try as you might you ain't flaring a beam-riding missile. It's the reason why I actively use it in SRE matches all the way up to top tier as it does everything it needs to and more (not to mention Russian bias letting it somehow ricochet dart rounds). Low profile? Check. 3rd gen thermals? Check. Scout UAV to spot enemies, which in SRE is especially useful for finding the enemy SPAA, which is of huge help to your friendly air? Check. Anti-air capabilities? Check. Anti-tank capabilities? Check. There's a reason people are still advocating to uptier this vehicle and it is because it belongs in top tier.
If you're a seasoned BMP player then once you get BMP-2M you'll love it. If you are noob rush in and die BMP player.. then it may seem like glass cannon.
of course its worth it. this is literally THE BEST squadron vehicle around. it will dominate every single vehicle it faces thanks to a rapid firing 30mm autocannon with apfsds and apds belt, ample supply of hard-hitting missiles, an ability to lock onto enemy aircraft, high quality thermals, amphibious capability, and that 30mm grenade launcher for whatever reason people use it for.....it is one of, if not the best vehicles of any class/tech tree

I dont deny that bmp 2m could have been good previously. Right now its one of the worst ones and the only way to be good at it is to be very passive, basically playing like a rat.@@shawarmaboii5271 I doubt you can have the same k/d now, especially if you play actively. I also believe that you probably perform better on any other vehicle in the same br.
I love it. I researched it partially for a discount and bought it. They moved it to 10.0 battle rating and it doesn't even matter. I take it into 11.0 with the ka-50 and get uptiered and it still dominates. Just have to flank and be sneaky with it. Those ATGMS just smoke everything and being able to top 4 off at once is insane. If you run 10.0 and get down tiered you can just mow everything down.
10000% recommend getting the 2M it is op as hell and can destroy an entire team if it flanks well also it can easily kill helis and low flying aircraft better than a lot of spaas at its BR (the 2M should really be 10.3 - 10.7 imo)

I think the most important thing about Squadron Vehicles is the Repair cost. I love A-4E, but those repair cost is not good for long run. Compared to BMP-2M under 3K repair cost.
Imagine with a modification you can get more crew in the back and either they can go out of the BMP it would take 10-8 seconds and they can shoot RPGs or just be additional crew it should have around 10ish crew I think I forgot how many passengers it can take but ye (the replacement crew would prob be really slow n stuff cuz not experienced)
I had the joy of riding in the back of a BMP 2 when our driver decided to take a shortcut trough woods, hitting pretty much everything except the biggest trees, i was bleeding from every unprotected part of my body, that thing has very little in padding & a lot of sharp edges (had this in most APCs/IFVs like the Marder), i can't imagine the horror of 10 guys + gear stuffed in there, i doubt they really pack it to the brim. But it is truly a beauty, simple yet elegant.
I have this and have not played it yet. I have nothing eles unlocked at that BR on tanks. After wtching I am sure I will end up giving it a backup so I can use it twice. Maybe Ill pair it up with my m22 and a p26

Even at 11.7 this can a tank you can use, and not as just a backup.

@@rolandb2108 That's that's nice and all but my mouse cannon when I switch to secondary it switches the secondary when I switch to primaries which is the primary. It only fires one gun on the bmp. It doesn't matter if I'm on primary or secondary both 30 mls either fire or they don't fire at all

I would say the top squadron vehicles are now the T80U, BMP-2M, Hunter F.58 and the M1A1 Aim.
I’m playing it in my 11.0 setup and it’s still one of the most effective vehicles there. The best light tank in the game 100%.

3:40 it overpressures the shit out of any enemy tank. FM-3 is op as hell.
