Alex Valenzi & The Hideaway Cats Featuring James Burton & Kenny Lovelace

Historic clip from our tour with James Burton & Kenny Lovelace in March 1995, on the occasion of the recording of our first album, live at the legendary Aeroanta! We also did our first performance of the 3 we did on Jô Soares' program, alongside Kenny(since James arrived a day later). This was the first of James' 4 times in Brazil(the second was on our 2008 tour and then 2 with ETC), and the second of Kenny's 3 times(the first with JLL in '93, and then with Jerry again in 2009), we opened both. This show was a real adventure due to a big flood in SP, the mobile studio didn't show up (we recorded the CD the next day at a much better show), I was practically voiceless and undergoing intense treatment for laryngitis, my drummer was dehydrated, and the panic, a bunch of kids, after a whirlwind of problems, to record a live CD with these guys... so this show with all its problems(also including the very unbalanced sound quality captured by the cameraman directly from the soundboard )Despite all these problems, it's really cool to see James & Kenny playing top quality RnR, in addition to the historical content of this performance from 29 years ago!!
