the led lights i have used is waterproof. Roll and keep the water pipe at the bottom. Then keep a plastic paper on top of the water pipe and place the led lights.

It should be a 12V dc pump. Please check if the pump you had bought is a dc pump. Large fountain pump will not work on 9v battery.
