    The mizuno morelia ii elite can be found in europe for 130€ from time to time, granted their are not made in japan, they are made in vietnam but still a notch or two above the 442s

      I say the elite versions of Mizuno boots specifically the Morelia 2 are vastly superior in terms of quality and fit over the Premier,442 V2049 and Copa 2.1.

    My 442s broke after about 4-5 months. Even though they were the most comfortable boots ever, I cannot fully recommend them.
    Sole separation everywhere, even the side of the heel. And tears in the weak midfoot upper.

    Grew up on Adipure. Was looking for a k-leather similar fit. Got the pure 2.1s. Although soft, it felt super thin and with little protection and molding felt like it may eventually rip. Went to my local soccer store, tried the New Balance 442 and it felt like exactly what I was looking for. Not maybe as many bells and whistles, but leather felt soft, boot was light, and felt fit instantly. Returned the adidas, and now playing the NB regularly.

      Seems to be a problem with copas too, though my son has the pure 2.1, and they are lasting ok. Put shoe goo between the sole plate edge as soon as it looked to separate. He loves the touch of the copas after wearing only speed boots prior.

    I've had multiple pairs of 442s, Nike Premiers, and copa mudials and honestly I would just go for the best colorway on sale. They're that close to each other in feel and quality, there are slight pros and cons to each model but it is not enough to lower or raise your performance.

  • @jmac_519
    @jmac_519 7 месяцев назад

    I have run the 442's for two seasons and have been thoroughly impressed overall. I don't know why, but in Australia they are selling the 442's for $260 and the Copa Pure.2 Elites for $300 - so $40 isn't as big a difference for us, unfortunately.
    However, the only negative aspect of the boot that I experienced was the internal heel. It took me about 5 games to finally not get a blister on each of my heels. However, for the remaining 25 or so games I have played since then, they have been fantastic. I will either get a pair of those again or jump to the Morelia Neo III Elite.
