I believe on the federal level it requires a minimum of 12 members of the grand jury to vote on an indictment. But, there are more than 12 members on a federal grand jury. This is why I would like to know the numbers. If it was unanimous (for example, 17 jurors voting for an indictment out of 17 present) this would be great news, and presages a good outcome for the criminal trial).
