First, you and now comicstorian talking about serious issues in African-American community. This is why you guys are the few pages that I have my notification on for you guys.
I really didn’t speak on anything🤷♂️ My voice actors and I just adapted the work and let it speak for itself But thank you for the the appreciation but that should all go to the original authors and my Voice Actors and Actresses
This was great. Really good. While everything was excellent, can I just tip my hat to whoever did the sound balance? It was amazing quality - it was a LOT better than you'd get in many, many, many TV shows or films.
I just want to make one thing straight: I love black superheroes (and supervillains). What I don't like is when characters that we grew up loving or admiring...are suddenly changed - be it gender or ethnically. Like when they made Jimmy Olsen into an African-American in the Supergirl series; or when they made the Ancient One into a Celtic woman. Or when they used Caucasian actors to portray Egyptian deities in "Gods of Egypt"; even if they were talented actors. If people want to use someone who is African-American, or Asian, or female, that is completely alright...but it should a comic book character that already is that. Otherwise, the characters that could have been used, continue being left out.
@@antwonhaynes1719 Yeah. There are literally dozens of non-Caucasians comic book characters that still need their own movie or series. But they aren't used or given attention because Hollywood is way to busy being WOKE!
I agree about this but let’s not paint that as black people doing this. what in reality is happening is that these movies companies are becoming increasingly more lazy and are doing crash grabs so they go and look for easy targets not saying black people are dumb or anything but it's been a lot of people using their grievances to make money off of
I sent a long reply earlier and I don’t see it anymore so I’ll retype it Isom 1 - a great & interesting intro to the world . Had a lot of room for growth but did its job when it comes to building interest. Isom 2 - Action packed and gave lots of depth to the world Both books were written by Eric and drawn by Cliff Richards. The Art was lacking and the dialogue was just ok. By No Means were they they the worst books if read but I knew Eric was working on getting better. Eric took people criticism and built on it by hiring cannon white as art director and has been working with Chuck Dixon and the soaks sisters to improve the writing. Alphacore was written by the legendary Chuck Dixon and the amazing Joe Bennet did the art and OMG was that amazing Yaira is in preorder status and written by the Soska Sisters and just by the art work u can tell Cannan White coming on as Art Director was a great choice. Isom 3 will be Eric’s next written book and he says it will be his best written and cliff Richard’s best art ever and I have no doubt Rippaverse will deliver
@@therussiancomicbookgeekIf you changed the title of this video to White you know you would get backlash for it. I just hate the double standards and self censorship. Nothing against you personally, just society as a whole.
@@therussiancomicbookgeekNot mad. Currently getting caught up on Spawn, myself. It just irks me, the focus on black characters, from both DC and Marvel. Every month there is a new comic out "celebrating black voices." They bank on the skin color of the characters to virtue signal instead of the character of the characters. Like I said nothing personal against you, just can't stand the focus on race in comics.
@@therussiancomicbookgeekthe people who can't tell the difference between boys and girls shouldn't get to write comic books. This isn't culture, or even meaningful. It's thin racism that says black people aren't good enough, so we have to take extra steps to make them as good as everyone else. When time should be spent on good, meaningful stories, instead of indulging some cuck's ideological shame. It's the exact opposite of what comic books are Also, the art and writing and characters in these stories are crap.
@@therussiancomicbookgeek Saying blacks need their own comic book is saying they aren't good enough on their own. It's racism. If the characters don't work, 'celebrating' them for sucking is celebrating their inferiority. Maybe if you stop pandering to the shitty writers and artists who are black but cry "muh racism" it would make room for the talented ones that exist.
