What’s admirable for me about J-Hope is he was doing all that underground dancing without the support of his dad who is a literature professor, and wanted him to do something else. You could tell from some of the things he said that it really affected him wanting his dad‘s approval but he didn’t want to give up on dancing. And later, when he goes home after being famous, you could tell it means more to him than all the money and everything else to know that his dad is proud of him
Oh that one birthday when his dad said things in a video message when they were in trainee practice and he couldn't go home, hope cried so so much

You are very right. But it's worth noting, while they had their special connections, Nate and Tony loved all of the members and doted on all of them equally. They are so whipped for these guys it really is like they are their younger brothers. I would love to have had interviews with Nate and Tony throughout the series.

Been following BTS since 2014.Jimin's tumbling skills and abs reveal on stage performances made them well known as Rookies.Jimin was the most searched iodl post his n J-Hopes 2014 MAMA performance. There are interviews by the staff and RM regarding how addition of Jimin to the team changed the whole dynamic. If you watch the Back to School episodes you will see how crazy and well known Jimin was among locals and foreign fans.J-Hope is well known for street dance skills n is quite respected among K-Pop idols as well. The dance director of BTS praises J-Hope as he learns the choreo faster than any other members on the team. V can memorize the steps faster. Why is that when Jimin is praised u guys have a problem and always end up comparing members. Jimin is one of the best dancer out there, no gimmicks, as he can do all genres out there. Stop hating on any member. They are good and that's why BTS is successful. Thanks to Jimin's addition. He is an integral part of the team just like the others.

I really enjoy your reactions. You guys are really funny and it's always a good laugh. However, I'm really going to need you all to stop listening to and Repeating some of the craziness that some of these so called ARMYs are pushing on you. Jimin has NEVER EVER said anything about wanting to or evening feeling feminine. He didn't like the persona he was assigned which was that "tough guy" "hard ass", "super macho" male, when that is not who he is. You know by now that Jimin is a kind, caring, sweet person. That is what he meant when he says he felt like a fraud. Please note that their are a wide variety of ppl in this fandom that want to push their own narrative on Jimin and the rest of the BTS members. Jimin is simply a uniquely beautiful human man who can attract both male and female equally, and because of that people like to label him. This type of thing has caused Jimin, among all the members, the most hate and vileness spread and said about him. NO One knows anything about BTS' sexuality, NO one. 1, it's none of our business as fans, and 2, it none of our business cuz that is their private lives. I'm sure if you haven't you will also be introduced to shippers soon as well. Those are the ppl that spread rumor that member A and B are a real couple/in a romantic relationship. BTS themselves have said they would appreciate it if ppl did not "ship" them but that doesn't stop those with an agenda to push. I would encourage you all NOT to repeat these things because as your following grows or as new ppl see your vids about BTS and BTS members, they may take what you say as truth. Anyway, thanks for the laugh.
Agree with this! Jimin had explicitly mentioned his distaste for the macho character that he had to uphold. This doesnt mean that he's girly or feminine. Jimin is just Jimin. Until he says something in particular, we can't keep boxing him in categories as we see fit. He wanted to be free from showing a certain image all the time. This is not a reflection of someone's gender or sexuality. It also isn't a reflection of the music he likes. Jimin never said he disliked "hiphop". If anything, he used to do hiphop dancing for a while.

Initially when they debuted, they were each assigned a role. Jimin as the main dancer and lead singer. He was assigned to sing all the high notes. He had to bulk up and work on his abs. He had to reveal his abs on most of the stage performances. He was the most searched idol on google post 2014 MAMA performance. His solo stage(MAMA 2014) with J-Hope introduced me to BTS. He is well known for his legendary iconic performances. Please check out Jimin's killer voice and legendary fancam compilations. Each member has a fancam compilations and I would request you react to them. Hè didn't like being bulky, not that he wanted to be feminine. He still works out and has abs. Initial roles assigned-Jimin the charmer of the group, Jin the matured and handsome one in the group.V the goofy n the cute one in the group and so on. Jin does talk abt it in an interview, unlike the role assigned to him he was total opposite. He loved talking and being goofy but had to hold back. Jimin on the other hand was a shy guy off stage and didn't like bulking up. Later on, each member started showcasing their true self unlike what role they were assigned with. He was good at hip-hop and contemporary. He had the shortest training period and debuted without any vocal training. Unlike other dances K-POP dances were different and he had to catch up with the chereo in the shortest period as they were to debut. Other members were already living together for a long time and were undergoing training. All the members are unique and are quite talented though. Jungkook was sent to US to be trained as a dancer before the debut and is the lead dancer. V joined the dance line later in 2019. Again, Jimin never wanted to be feminine. He just didn't like being bulky. In real life all the members are goofy and playful. They lived together for a long time and are inseparable. That's the reason behind their sucess.Jimin was the most searched member in 2014 post their MAMA 2014 performance. He is referred to as the Rookies bible and most of the K-Pop idols look upto him. All members have received 2 national awards except Jimin who has received 3 national awards. The Order of Cultural Merit, the Plaque of Appreciation, and the Van Fleet Award in February 2019 for his fan dance performance. J-Hope was the leader of the dance group even before Jimin joined and still is. JImin n Jhope assists the team now. Suga, Jin and Namjoon are good dancers as well. BTS choreo is tough and they have to be good to keep up with it.BTS is the best group as each one is talented, and all the 3 rappers are a part of Korea Music Copyright Association 49.They are all involved in writing, composing, directing and producing their songs. Suga has produced songs outside BTS with other K-POP idols as well. Jin was vocally trained after he joined BTS.I love his song Awake. Critics have only praises for these boys. Jimin being a perfectionist is always hard on himself. He works hard to create a perfect stage for his audience.
I thought the reason Jimin didn't like looking at the early stuff of him wasn't because he wanted to be more feminine but because he wanted to look better and thought he was chubby. Can someone point me to where he said he was living a lie and wanted to be more feminine? To me, he dresses similar now when he isn't dressed up with makeup and hair now as back then-just prefers bucket hats to ball caps but he has always dressed comfortable and casual and not feminine when he is not doing a promotion. I actually blame the fans for making rude comments about his weight and hair for why he seldom goes on weverse lives unless he has had his hair and makeup done for something else. He used to but then had to deal with comments saying he looks chubby or looks bad. It ticks me off. He should be able to just talk to the fans just as he is without people holding him to a higher standard of beauty. He gets enough heat from outside the random without having to deal with comments about his appearance from fans too. I honestly don't blame him for not coming on now unless he has been made up for something else.
I think this guys make their own conclusion jimin want to be more looks feminime based on how they looks on Jimin style now. Even all BTS (even Kpop in general) looks feminime for American point of views who not used with Kpop or East Asian celebrity in general (remember when BTS first time get blown up in America n how people perceive them as feminime just because they looks pretty, have a good skin n wear make up, so they associate them as feminime 🤦♀️ And for Jimin, i found some of reactor though jimin was a girl when they first time watching BTS).
Yea he just didn't like having to bulk up because it was hard for him to keep that physique.
All of it is speculations tbh. People are making shit up and the reactors are unfortunately adding their own conclusions too. We all get cringed out by our old memories, photos, videos etc. It's a very normal reaction; imagine how embarassed you might be if the whole world has access to vids and photos of you from 10 years ago? The other thing to keep in mind, is that Jimin had *clearly* mentioned feeling pressured and uncomfortably being the "macho" man image. Other than that, Jimin didnt say he wants to be feminine either. He could be anything and everything, if he wants. People keep making assumptions about him "switching" to feminine or hating his past self for being "chubby". He has always been kind and beautiful idk why people get on his case and put words in his mouth.
Jimin is the only musician in Korea's history to receive 3 national awards! In dance, The Order of Cultural Merit, the Plaque of Appreciation, and the Van Fleet Award.
And that's shows how each of the members were so talented and hard working to have such kind of awards!

So Jimin takes charge of most of the difficult parts, such as killing parts and dance breaks. Even now, Jimin and Jhope check the choreography together and inform the members, and Jhope also learns from Jimin.

Don’t you guys remember that Jhope was in a dance crew before BTS. He won competitions. Even though Jimin studies Contemporary dance and had some hip hop lessons. Jhope is the dance leader of BTS.
Jimin was the last member to enter and jhope is older so ofc he will be the leader. Thats called respect. Jimin did 6 months training ONLY in history of idol training which is usually (2 yrs or more)which means he is really already good before BTS. With the shortest training he got MAIN DANCER and LEAD VOCALS. He won dance battles too. Jimin is all rounder dancer not just hiphop, Jhope also learned a lot from jimin, he said that in interviews.

They’re Not bullshit nothing is scripted what you see from all the members is what’s real, they’re each different and have there own unique style so please stop knocking them, remember this documentary was in the early days of their careers and they’re still developing their craft, they’re talents haven’t begun to shine yet so please go easy on your criticisms

Dancer A is trained in street dance/hip hop
Dancer B is trained in hip hop, ballet, modern, contemporary dances.
Both attend an audition for a Broadway play that need hip hop dancers. They both fail the audition but the producers tell them two blocks away they are looking for ballet dancers. Which one have the training to audition? Dancer B. Why, because he is a professionally train dancer! And If you are a dancer then you should understand that concept! 🙄🙄

V is still super fun he's known to be a social butterfly like he literally went by himself to Lady Gaga's table at The Grammys last year to meet her when he doesn't even speak English and when they'd never met before he's just more calm than when he was a teenager which I'm pretty sure happens to everyone.

I REALLY recommend you to watch J-hope's freestyle compilation,for example the one by Jinfishes since it also includes his Hope On The Street videos. J-hope is easily one of the best if not the best dance freestyler in kpop. It's a shame that he doesn't really get to showcase more of his hip hop dancing in bts choreos, people miss out on his skills unless they search deeper on their own

J-hope is formally trained in dance (he attended an academy for 6 years) but he was also part of a hip hop crew. Though his specialty is street dance, he's good at many styles including contemporary. He has the dance foundations for all types of dances. I have a freestyle compilation on my channel if you want to check out his freestyling.

Only Jimin and J-Hope were dancers before being part of BTS. J-Hope has no bones! sometimes, Jimin is shy when showing his dancing skills, fortunately, not always!

Guys- keep in mind that this is VERY early in the group’s career. At the time they signed the autographs in L.A. they were practically unknown in the U.S. Hell, there’s still lots of folks here who don’t know BTS. You must take into consideration that BTS did not rehearse the movements well because they did not know that the competition was about dancing as well as the songs that were played for the dance. Other than that, these young competitors knew about the songs and also rehearsed their dances.

Sorry guys. Not only is J-Hope considered by professional dancers as well as BTS’s choreographer to be the best dancer in BTS, but he is the Dance Leader.
There are many videos and clips showing Jimin flirting and checking out women. Whatever his sexuality, he’s a beautiful man.

You guys need to watch the BTS guide again. Clearly you weren’t paying attention initially when you watched it, and you seem to have missed out on a whole lot of information on Jhope, Suga’s journey to becoming members of Bangtan Sonyeondan as well as other things that led to the guys becoming who they are today.

I think they misinterpret Jin's features a little when seeing people of color. The first time he passed by was when he saw a girl and got scared. Jin is really very scary and the girl appeared out of nowhere. And here 17:20 he was just nervous about introducing himself to new people.

I like your reaction and I ask you to continue. I think this reality show has some slightly problematic moments, but it was useful for the boys. I think some situations are even unnecessary, to try to get some attitude out of the boys for the sake of entertainment. But, anyway, what reality isn’t like that? But, overall, it brought positive things.

I find it incredibly disappointing that at this point they don't know who is who in BTS. I suggest you investigate, because apparently they don't.
I think they’re doing a decent job. And I do think that they’re making an effort. They correct themselves when they realize they’ve made a mistake instead of not even thinking about it which I’ve seen some reactors do. I think it’s cute that at one point they thought it was V but he says as soon as he saw that smile, he knew it was Jungkook. that shows they’re making an effort and recognize some of the things that make the boys unique like Jungkook’s bunny smile. It’s mainly J-Hope, Jin, V and Jungkook that they struggle with but I don’t feel like it’s because they don’t care
You and the other armies that make our fandom look bad need to calm tf down. They've only known the boys a few months not years. There's also nothing wrong with taking time to recognize ppl. Some ppl can tell members apart fast and some need more time. They are trying and that's all that matters.❤

Let's just throw this out there, it depends on the type of dance. Ballet, contemporary, or modern. Can't see Chris Brown doing ballet like Baryshnikov 🤣🤣🤣
They all have their own dance styles that evolved over time. But best street dancer is JHope. He has no bones. You should check out the 3J(Jhope, Jimin and Jungkook) subunit Butter remix.
Jungkook was 15/16 when this was filmed. And I agree this may have been the impetus of him becoming the dance beast that he is today.
If you don't battle or never have battled it can be a lot. I grew up in the 80's and you weren't supposed to touch the other dancer ever!!!
And one of the best battlers I have seen lately is a sweet young looking white girl from LA. Her name is Audrey Lane and she is in Jam Republic with Kirsten Dodgen. When she battles she becomes someone else, like the exorcist. You can see her on Street Woman Fighter 2. They all underestimated her. So you just never know.
My favorite thing is to freak people out with my dancing. I don't look like I can dance the way I do. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well jomin is not really a hiphop boy to begin with but want to be the members of bts which is a hiphop group so he had to train his body to more manly muscular than other member to fit in... And in terms of dancing he said b4 that hiphop dance street dance is not his best cuz he is a ballerino a modern dancer contemporay dancer so he not only trained his body to fit into hiphop group but also his dance thats y jk even says b4 that jimin is da hardest worker of them all even sleeping in da dance practice room so he could practice after waking up b4 going school sleeping 4am and getting up at 6am to go to school he trained just only 6months b4 their debute while others trained years....

The second thing is in HipHop dance battle, especially the professionnal ones or competition, you're not allowed to touch the opponent, and if it's tolerated, it's considered extremely unethical and not really accepted... You can push the person by approaching more and more, but never push with your hands.
JHope is truly the best dancer in BTS, he's the most complete in term of versatility, creativity and freestyling... He was part of a street dance crew and he won in the past a national competition with that crew... In his city, people used to call his crew by his name even tho the crew was named Neuron... Thank you was fun rewatching it after a long time. Both Jimin and J Hope did Street dance battles pre debut. Jimin has done lots of battles and won too. He started with hip hop then did contemporary dance, ballet and folk dance.
Last year Jimin Street dance battle footage was found in one local dance club channel. A bit of it is included in the dance compilations Park Jimin dance evolution and versatility by The Jimin Videos (same channel who made Park Jimin introduction 2023 that you watched). Sadly his dance footages were blurred from Seotaji x BTS concert for copyright reasons but you can watch them in the concert.
