Jordan is such a desert of a place but the new sanctuary is in green paradise! so well done by the Princess and Jordanian people! This place is soooo needed....beautiful documentary to watch....Thank you!
Awww, doggo and rhino pals. Doggo was trying to share his toy. Cute. I wish humans would just leave the wild animals alone. They were here first if you believe in the Bible. And human's entitlement to all beings is just wrong.
I’m not sure if I agree with the owner of the sanctuary on not introducing too much of a military approach to protecting the rhinos. Clearly these poachers are experts at what they do and are willing to use military-grade weapons. The only way to scare them off and make sure they don’t see you as exploitable is to show them that your organization has the same armed forces and serious mentality that they do.
African Parks organization is looking after 20 parks now across Africa. Majority were completely empty of any wildlife! Savanah deserts or green deserts....not even a gazelle...just birds....they use small armies, armed to the teeth! with some rangers babysitting elephants or rhinos day in and day out in some parks...but it MUST be done otherwise there will be nothing left...at one stage Africa was just about empty from wildlife (4 million elephants 100 years ago down to 400 thousand today - think about THAT slaughter and weep!)...

@@Nitka022 many other African countries if poachers are brought in alive they are put to death. @@jyotikijyoti African prisons aren't the same as western prisons. There's a reason poachers choose to unload their guns, risking lethal retaliation, to try and escape vs going to prison.
This is an old doc, because the charity running the orphaned rhino sanctuary in South Africa closed it in May 2017 after one of the women was sexually assaulted by poachers, who also killed 2 of the rhinos for their horns. It was really sad for the rhinos as they all had to be placed in temporary locations, and they also had to find a home for their Alsatian (USA: German shepherd) dog. The lady profiled called Karen Trendler seems to have recovered from her cancer, God willing, and still works in wildlife rehabilitation.
Princess Alia, love your sense of humour! I can honestly say I have never had alligators in the dining room! Thanks to everyone who helped with this rescue and a move to better quality of life
I love that Princess! so awesome to accept those animals into your home and to help these poor animals have a better life. May God Bless you for a long healthy life.
i read the elephant whisperer years ago, before i ever knew about this show! i found it so beautifully written and educational, he knew so many interesting things about them that you would only find otherwise in research papers. wonderful, emotional book and such an incredible man.
I don’t know how true it is,but I heard that the poaching of rhinos is so bad that they are beginning to adapt and evolve into no longer having horns. Like I said,I don’t know how true it is but remember reading it somewhere
That’s true the people protecting them are intentionally cutting off their horns to keep them alive so they are evolving with far shorter horns over time
By the terms: “if we don’t get the truck moving right way, we risk loosing some of them”.. they really mean they will suffer and die a horrible torturous death!!
Karen please do not worry, if the poachers have to be shot at sight. That is the only way these animals will survive, and the message will go to the poachers. Get the king pins, and do the same.
Princess Aria, what an amazing person. Why did I not have heared about her before coming along 4 paws videos? Learned something new today watching that video. She deserves definitely more attention! Is there any other website/fb site to follow her?
Karen when you rescue these Rhino's, please pease do not release them back in the wild. Poachers kill these beautiful animals for their horns. God made those horns for them to protect them in the wild. It is man's greed that haas ruined this planet. When the poachers are caught. They should be shot at sight.
What's the difference between illegal poachers or legal trophy hunters? The only difference is that the government gets to cut itself in for some profits. But for the animals, it makes no difference b/c in both cases the animals are dead. Both poaching and trophy hunting should result in life in prison, for the sake of the animals. They have a right to their lives, too.
Many conservation efforts are run by the trophy hunting business. Somewhat ironically, animals too old to mate such as giraffes will often still kill offspring that isn't theirs. Resulting in lower numbers of giraffes reaching breeding age. So sometimes it is a good thing that humans intervene, and whatever fee that was taken that goes into better protection for the remaining animals, better tracking, better medication for those that get caught in poacher traps and live and need rehab. This goes for other animals as well. The government only gets a cut from the tourism end of things like passports and dealing the actual permits. Edit: The difference between poachers and trophy hunters is that trophy hunters have to pay a fair sum and the money goes to the local programs for animal conservation and there's no wastage of meat and resources once the deed is done, especially not for exotic animals, even elephants get taken in for research and recording. Poachers will kill and butcher animals for specific parts and leave them to rot, not furthering science or conservation whatsoever.
I would also say some endangered species have to be prevented from too much inbreeding through taking out dominant older males. Giving them free for legal hunting, brings the protection services the money to protect the population. As mean it looks. Rare species need to be prevented from to much inbreeding through breeding concepts. And taking out the dominant old males is essentiell for that. So what is better, putting them into a smal prison, where they suffer from being taken out of their life, or getting shot, no suffering at all, and even brought the money thats needed to safe the population. Its a tough theme. But thats the difference between legal hunt and illegal killing, where noone cares about anything. In that legal hunt concept to my knowledge they even can shoot endagered species, for especially that reason.
Rhino horns are the only way the animal has to protect itself. There are countless videos of rhinos without horns being attacked by hippos, lions, hyenas etc. It's literally their only way to defend themselves.

it would be an honor to work at a place like that where you work with young rhinos
I recognize that Dr. He was the amazing man who stayed behind & took care of some lions or tigers? I forgot. but he's amazing!!!
I was glad to hear that some countries have given a shoot to kill when they find poachers
This made me happy. Thank you.
God bless❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Anyone that attempts poaching, automatically forfeits their right to live, shoot to kill, show zero mercy
This was amazing, incredible peoples with big hearts .. ❤
Thanks you world
She needs to realize what kind of criminals these poachers are.
Thank u for helping the animals

Absolutely amazing
Brilliant!
he says he arrests them and takes them to the jail....please tell me you give him a decent whooping before taking him in!!!
I was hoping to hear that the horns were sawn off at a certain stage..they do this in other sancturies..no horns,no poaching
Is using drones at night with heat vision to find poachers practical? And setting up solar panel cameras?
Just to lower human risk?
Lions and tigers and bear o my
🤣😂

Nice work
🙏🙏🙏
why don't all countries make possession of ivory a serious crime no matter how you came to own it?
Most countries do have such laws but there are still some like China who use the horns for medicine
How sad and sweet
No demand no business

Legal trophy hunters can't kill endangered species. They can't shoot rhinos or tigers for example.

Why not try cold compresses on the fox's skull in order to try to bring down the swelling and take the pressure off of the brain?!!!
the girl is so hot
can you drill the horn?
❎ ENCOUNTER :: OF HUNTERS 🔫 AND POACHERS 🔫 MUST BE DONE ;; AT LARGE SCALE BY THE GOVT.
🐖
Cut the horns off so they can't be poached there be no reason then
