Depends what you think your audience needs and will help solve a problem for them on a smaller scale. I don’t recommend using anything free unless is has resell rights. I’d stick to creating something of your own

You can start on the basic plan. No need for the Pro plan!
Does Stan Store provide DRM protection for your PDFs? If not, what's a good recommendation to protect your digital work?
Not to my knowledge but there are a good number of companies that can do this like Lock Lizard or ones that pop up on Google
I still prefer go high level for everything - including digital products
