I actually really like Mitch for Lou. A lot more than Peter that's for sure. Peter was ok in the beginning but he turned very selfish very quickly and never really thought about Lou or what was best for his family, it was all about him and what he wanted

The truth is that Lou doesn't know boundaries and always want to win, so that cost her his relationship with Mitch. She was warned several times but she didn't listen and she received the consequences.

I just binged watched the first 11 seasons. Lou is probably just as annoying as her father. Beautiful actress but it was starting to become difficult to stomach her character. Peter was almost too good for her. Maybe Mitch, I guess I will have to see .

I know I am in the minority on this one, but I don't like Mitch! Just something from the start of him being on the show turned me off and I realize I am probably wrong in my feelings but they still are my feelings. I wish they would get another love interest for him. From the beginning I wanted Lou and Scott to get together until Peter got in the picture then of course not wanting to be a home wrecker LOL even if it's just TV so I accepted Peter but then when they got divorced I again started thinking about Lou and Scott getting together but doesn't look like that's going to happen. I had rather Lou got back together with Peter than with Mitch. I still watch and enjoy the show. I find it amazing the series has gone on this long. Some amazing writers as well as cast. I hope the show continues for several more seasons!
Some Good Witch (TV series) fans still hasn't forgiven Hallmark for not having Chris Potter continue with the show when it started airing as a TV series instead of movies. I totally understood since Chris was already under contract with Heartland. I am always ok with a recast as I get attached to story lines and characters instead of actors but they killed off Chris Potter's character instead of recasting him. Killing him off, didn't set well with a lot of fans LOL
Mitch maybe the Marlboro man for some but his character is very flawed. From the first meeting with Lou he has only thing on his mind. Those shifty eyes, the smirk on his face, the cowboy saunter, his sense of humour - the ranch hand and the farmer’s Daughter, I don’t kiss my friends like that, going against the family business, jumping into Lou’s bedroom at night ( I thought this was a family drama) his general demeanour does not instill trust in the person. What is wrong with Lou ? The way Mitch comes up to Amy and Georgie I would be scared to have them alone anywhere near him. And Jack! He is becoming senile. Encouraging Mitch to hook up with Lou. Offering him partnership! Guess he just wants a ranch hand after all even at the expense of his granddaughter. This character needs to go unless you want to spite the Bartlett-Fleming family.
