The orchestral arrangement vibed so well with this song. “It’s Live” went HARD on this one with 2 percussionists, 3 brass instruments, an electric bass, the little send off after the acapella at the end… like yo it added so much dimension to an already amazing song.
Seriously, I've never heard of any group pulling off a R&B jazz session that sounds so clean and still make it like a good Christmas song that really isn't a Christmas song.
This song really resonates with me more than just during the holidays. Because of how closely I personally follow XG. Like this song doesn’t necessarily need to be about a special someone that you not on good terms with. But even for people who are lonely l, missing someone, or even lost a loved one. Like for our Xtraordinary Girls are out chasing their dreams and that means they’ll be apart from their families. But they still have each other. XG is really the Gift that keeps on Giving.

Juria's falsetto ad-lib of "every morning" sounds so much like Tamia's when she sang the same words in "Spend My Life w/ You" - (Eric Benet ft Tamia)" Juria's ad-lib had the same expression and cadence and I kept thinking I heard that before. Especially when Tamia goes into her falsetto. Just beautiful. Edit: Tamia had the same falsetto sound when she ad-libbed " You know that I love you, yeah yeah"" on the remix to her song So Into You by Fabulous that also ft her on one of the versions. Juria's ad-lib just unlocked my musical vault 😊. I've always loved that melody.
