Only in GAMMA feeling of finding a new better gear you know you can repair and maintain is so rewarding (because you can't buy anything from traders). So running to an AS "VAL" with a normal barrel or a semi-functional КS-23 is just exciting.
when you find the highest tier medium toolkit suit knowing you can repair it with stuff you have back at base is so satisfying, or finding a gas mask that actually lets you take most radiation after chain smoking cigarettes for 15 hours. love this game.
So true, i was looking for a KS-23 for ages in my current playthrough and then i had all but given up on it. Went to check some stashes i had marked in Army Warehouses and audibly gasped when i got one in the stash, it was super broken but i had all the parts to fix it up right away. You just dont have those moments if you can buy guns from traders
It's a cool middleground to enable the trading mod GAMMA has, then you MIGHT find guns on very select traders and you have a dialogue option to ask vendors are they willing to trade weapons, I haven't seen the prices or anything yet but it seems like a cool mod (also it has MCM options) Another cool mod is the mags redux, I found the 357. Colt conversion but I just have 1 mag for it lol, I can repair it decently enough but dang I need more mags..
Hey drewski, you said that you didn't think that people would like these videos but I personally think that they are some of your best videos that you have made. You are the reason me and my friends love stalker so much and why we play it. Keep it up!!
I played Stalker for the first time about three weeks ago with Anomaly, the next week I downloaded GAMMA and have been playing it since. My biggest mistakes were not knowing you could craft heavy repair kits with advanced tools if you still are in need of expert tools, and most importantly that you only need to replace parts on guns and armor to a certain percentage before those repair kits can bring them up past those percentages. My third and current stalker is a clear skies with a heavy Clear Sky armor, heavy military helmet, and M4A1. About to attempt the brain scorcher for the first time and continue progressing further into the rest of the Zone I have yet to explore
Idk if you're checking comments here still, it was mentioned that you don't know if we enjoy Stalker videos and it being strange to you; I started watching you because of the Stalker vids, something about this format drew me in and I was dying for more episodes, the rest of your vids became (awesome and entertaining) filler until the next Stalker entry... You also got me playing this game myself and after it I gained even more of an appreciation of this content. All in all, very fun stuff, love it (and your other videos too, don't want to say the rest are not good)
I'll be honest. I don't watch Drewski that much. But I will watch every one of his stalker gamma videos. This even made me install the game. Since then I have shifted my sleeping schedule, playing it after work until 6am. I don't regret a thing :D
You stalker videos are the only reason why I had the confidence to try out gamma and now I have almost 500 hours in gamma alone! Keep the content flowing and especially the stalker!

I started watching your older gamma series and caused me to buy all the stalker games the other night, really looking forward to playing them plus the gamma mod when I'm done. Thanks drewski for the amazing and entertaining videos
Your last Gamma vid inspired me to give the mod another go after many, MANY unsuccessful attempts at getting out of the hobo with a toz phase and failing miserably before putting the game down. Im happy to report that I am now inconceivably farther than I ever thought I could progress in Gamma with a new understanding of the health and repair system that I am expanding on and finding new features every time I play another session.
34:50 On scavanger progression difficulty: crafting the heavy repair kit using advanced tools will cost you 86k if you buy all the parts that are needed to craft 4x medium kits and then the heavy repair kit. 01:02:28 i hope someone in chat told you that you just scrapped a L96 AWSM that shoots .338 Magnum rounds (highest dmg and pen not counting rail gun ammo) and not the normal one that shoots 7.62, that is why it hurt you so much. 01:28:24 be glad you attemted this after grok lowered the difficulty and extended the time from 6 to 10 minutes.... it was utterly bonkers before, lots of high lvl monolith (master, legend) in exos.
1:28:24 As somehow who actually did both attempt and complete the Brain Scorcher with the 6 minute timer, he is indeed very lucky. It took about 9 hours of attempts, and a whole lot of lucky AP full auto shots to those damn high tier Exo Monolith, and I still only completed it by ignoring half of the last section of enemies and sprinting through while popping healing. My winning attempt had two seconds left on the timer when i finally hit the switch to shut it down. I left my run on Radar (and subsequent Brain Scorcher) with 54 Monolith faction patches, and I'd never killed or collected any Monolith prior to that attempt. Edit: Clarity and spellings.
@@drizztrysylvae3045 It was about 1 1/2 hours of attempts - much longer than the final cut of this video presented lol. I died a few more times than shown too.
@@drizztrysylvae3045 that was my experience as well, i was only able to do it by ignoring all enemies starting where the stairs go down, i had an apocalypse helmet and an exosuit, i was left with less than 30 seconds as well as a nearly gone head health bar, the other body parts were pretty banged up as well. after the shutdown i didn't even had the time to properly fix myself up before i got rushed again, it was quite the ride for sure.
Started a max difficulty loner playthrough using UGP, and starting out with a higher tier weapon was such a mistake because i didnt have any vendors selling the ammo until at least 500 rep. But once I got a KS-23 very early, watching mutants and people go flying due to my gun is probably the most satisfying experience in the game.
I love these long videos, like an honest review of a game before i play it. But also I enjoy the 'boring' parts as I don't have time or hang out on twitch as much as youtube. It's like watching a movie on the side whilst doing work but then you get invested and BAM I'm hooked!
I don’t know if it is the same for other people, but I love your Stalker videos for the atmosphere. I would be more than fine with a 1-hour long video of you just doing some menial side quest. It reminds me of my modded Skyrim, where I would just walk around, not doing anything in particular but enjoy the "life" added into the game by the different mods
The reason i love watching these videos is because when i watched the first Stalker vid i got the same feelings i got from watching Frankies first Arma 2 DayZ series. Keep up the good work drew!
If you ever start a new game, I highly recommend check the Mag-redux option so you can have loadout with magazines. Some guns (like shotgun and sks) do not use magazine so you can have some wild loadout. After trying out many optional mods based on Gamma, this one feels most impactful in term of gameplay! Also your game looks so good, not sure if the YT compression does anything or you changed some settings but it looks way better than mine.
Please keep making gamma videos they are not boring at all, I’m on my 5th play through of gamma and I still love watching you romp through the zone. I would really love to see you finish the game this run.
I love your S.T.A.L.K.E.R: GAMMA vids. This one was an absolute blast! Please, don't worry about them not having enough "action", I just love watching you play it, regardless. The numbers on that last one, prove that I'm not alone. The S.T.A.L.K.E.R games hold a very special place in my heart, and I want to play GAMMA. Sadly, I don't have the time to sit down and play it, not to mention getting it up and running😅 Your videos have been scratching that itch, and I hope you continue making them ❤
Please keep making these videos. They are geniunely what are getting me through midterms right now and makes me so excited to head home soon and continue my own Gamma play through. Gamma has that same appeal that takes used to have to me when I was a kid, so much mystery and mastery and places to explore, it never gets old to watch you explore and get into interesting situations. Keep up the awesome work!
Surprised Drew doesn't take advantage of fast travel. But I'm so glad we have another STALKER video, it intro'd me to this game and I'm absolutely in love!
hey maaan, a couple of minor tips for artifact hunting (might not apply with some of the mods, but they work on vanilla anomaly): - you can shoot artifacts and they move without despawning, use low caliber for precision or a shotgun blast to toss it off the field to a safe spot (be smart about it, the artifact WILL ricochet and can be tossed out of sight) - only sell artifacts to scientist, every other faction does this, hence why they take a cut for acting as a middle man - you can toss a random worthless ligth gun around instead of bolts by simply dropping them from the inventory - you can visit recently looted anomalies instantly after a storm to find new artifacts for a quick buck (here's a caveat, every time i farm a field twice, the second time i only get basic artifacts, so maybe time affects newly spawned artifacts and letting them macerate will increase their tier) if you find this useful, go smoke a joint with the green boyz at Freedom!
I'm running a disguised Military Stalker at the moment, I fully recommend it. Blending in with stalker groups for low key missions, or wearing your uniform when going in for high key raids with allies is a fun dynamic.
I'm an older guy and I like your vids a lot. Gambling your money is the worst waste of a life. They always say they make money gambling but they also have to hold 2 jobs to make ends meet. I used to play the trotters..... until I woke -up standing in front of the ATM for the 3rd time in 1 hour. I decided it's better to pay off all debts and then my paycheck stays home instead of going to someone else. That worked. Paid cash for our last home. Keep up the good work. Hey, just saw Matt's El Camino on Vice Grip Garage!
Drewski, your GAMMA content is absolutely banger. I always look forward to a GAMMA video, sitting down, having a nice cup of warm choccy and getting comfy, and just chilling out. I fucking love it.
I love the detail in the Mosin reload animation! The upward pull on the top round of the stripper clip is so accurate! For both my SKS and my Mosin I have to do exactly that, otherwise the bolt will just not close, the tip of the first round won't slide into the feed ramp, it'll jam against it. It's an odd quirk that seems to I've only seen with Russian rifles too. My buddy also has an SKS and he has to do the same thing, but not with his K98 or Lee Enfield. If I had to guess it's got something to do with Russian magazine followers of the time 🤷♂
Thank you Drewski for showing me the greatness that is this game. I have been playing it non-stop since watching your previous entry. stalker Anomaly is the pinacle of survivor horror and your content around it enhances the experience. Amazing work and thank you!
yea, stalkers weird man. Sometimes the AI is pretty damn smart and immersive, and other times they are fucking stupid and take 9 slugs to the head to kill with no armor. but when it’s good, it’s amazing.
If you're looking for another STALKER game, there's a mod called Shadow of COOP in development. It's essentially STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl designed to play with 4 people. I've only seen small streamers upload VODs of playing it so I think it would be great if someone like you shed some more light on the project! it's in very early stages but when it works it is a great experience!
This game is frustratingly awesome.. it’s only dogs lol not when 7 of them come thru the bush, 2 cats and 3 snorks and you just spent 10 minutes getting to that point… love this game
@OperatorDrewski What you were saying about long form being boring. It's your engagement with your viewers/fans and how humble you are that make them good to watch. Also about the old guy lol. I'm 55 been playing computer/console games since i was 8. Got myself into playing Gamma from your video's. Not brave enough to upload but I watch all your vids to get tips. Keep up the good work.
Let me say this, drewski. We are seriously starved for you playing STALKER. I hope you will start another ironman run, bwcause that was sooooo fun to watch!
drew, not worry that your vids are boring, not matter if they have low views, you are entertaining to watch, even your stalker videos and longer videos, are a comfort to watch, they are that good
You gotta try the Mags Redux with GAMMA at some point. I'v been having so much fun with it, much more than without them. Having to manage mags and only having limited slots makes you consider magless weapons way more even in "late game" but especially early game because getting mags is in of itself a challenge. You can also get bigger magazines for most guns, like 60 round extended for ARs, gives a bit more depth to weapon upgreading as well since you're not just stuck with your initial capacity like in "vanilla" GAMMA. Certainly more interesting than just running an AR+Saiga ever playthrough :))
You should definitely have more confidence in this kind of content. The long form STALKER and Antistasi videos are BY FAR the best stuff you have put out there, and I think you know that deep down since you have clearly put a lot of effort in to editing and producing them. Your usual brand of humor and general style that makes you stand out from other content creators still remains, but there's this almost cinematic sheen to it all in these videos thanks to your editing skills continually improving. Keep it up, dude. You're doing great work and I hope it continues to pay off for you.
47:34 The STALKER series attracts the kind of people that enjoy stuff just for the atmosphere and are more than willing to settle in for a long session. Your videos fill that same niche, with the twist of having the entertainment value of your commentary.
I just wish this was easier to download. I was barely able to do anomaly, and even then it’s still not properly done. Even better I wish I could just pay for it, and not have to jump through hoops to play it. I’ve always wanted a game like this, and it’s a blast. I’ve never been in more heart pounding moments in a game. I actually feel like I’m a part of the world.
Drewski, Imma be honest. I am ALWAYS looking for more stalker gamma content. Especially long-form. I want to see every grueling detail, every scrape, outfit repair, and artifact collected.

My favourite game to watch you play. I love watching your mind at work in this universe. It is my favourite entertainment. Writing this as you talk about the history of the SPAS. Great content as always. Cannot get enough of it. Bravo Drew
Its wild playing GAMMA after only really playing vanilla stalker in the past. Having to gear up to fight the military base by rookie village is such a weird feeling when I'm so used to being able to pistol them all to death.
I knew of Stalker before your videos, and since then I have longed for someone to cover gamma in the way you do. I'm in love with this game and hope that you keep doing these. Your take, sidenotes and little stories you add make this already so atmospheric game a awseome watching experience.
About 47:37, long form content has become so sparse on youtube that people like me are struggling to find ANYTHING that isnt pure brainrot. Now that I'm playing GAMMA, it's really been scratching that single-player survival itch! Plus, I learn new strategies and ways to play from these vids I never would've picked up on my own! Definitely keep these longer ones coming. Also looking super forward to your inevitable Stalker 2 videos when it finally releases ;)

47:50 The stalker videos are my favorite content of yours, and what got me subbed to watch other content. I get so invested in the run and I'm hyped to see what comes next.
Your last video made me finally go through the effort of getting gamma going after already having hundreds of hours into anomaly. I thought I had played this game to death but anomaly really did breath new life into it for me and ruin my sleep schedule. Seeing you play an early game character makes me want to start another character even though my first character isn't done the main quest yet. Currently in the sin part of the main quest, did you know there's a girl mod? I guess you wouldn't need it but being able to play a girl stalker with black nail polish is awesome for me, it's even voice acted to! She says stuff in Russian during fights when reloading and stuff
Everytime I see you post a GAMMA video I always go back and play for a few days, regardless of what game I'm in the middle of. Your Stalker content is great and I look forward to seeing it on my video feed 😁 Plus, the longer form versions of these videos are great and I enjoy watching the longer cuts of your playthrough sessions.

when you find the highest tier medium toolkit suit knowing you can repair it with stuff you have back at base is so satisfying, or finding a gas mask that actually lets you take most radiation after chain smoking cigarettes for 15 hours. love this game.
I know! I felt so accomplished when I finally had a fully repaired gun. I hear it’s like that for EFT, too, but I’m to chicken for all that.
@@fourierbird its kind of like that, but EFT involves lots of death so you cycle through various loadouts quickly
It's a cool middleground to enable the trading mod GAMMA has, then you MIGHT find guns on very select traders and you have a dialogue option to ask vendors are they willing to trade weapons, I haven't seen the prices or anything yet but it seems like a cool mod (also it has MCM options)
Another cool mod is the mags redux, I found the 357.
I don't regret a thing :D
make sure you're getting rest aswell 😂😂
my life has been messed up ever since he uploaded the first gamma video bro. i don’t have a good night anymore. im always in the zone stressing lol

You stalker videos are the only reason why I had the confidence to try out gamma and now I have almost 500 hours in gamma alone! Keep the content flowing and especially the stalker!
How do you track hours in gamma?
days, every day cycle is about 4 hours so you can figure that you have 2.5 hours factoring sleep a day, for instance, 14 days would be just under 40 hrs
@@bellotti9399
Bought a gaming PC because of your Stalker videos, haven't touched a different game in 3 months thanks Drew!!!
Amazing
Drewski: im not sure if they'll like more long form stalker content.
Literally everyone: MORE STALKER PLZ
No way Drew just dropped another Stalker masterpiece
He probably had a few graphics mods. Also, he has a 4090.

You've made it, Drewski
The perfect add integration
Bro, that sponsor transition was the best I've ever seen. Great work, and even better content!
Surprised Drew doesn't take advantage of fast travel. But I'm so glad we have another STALKER video, it intro'd me to this game and I'm absolutely in love!
I hate commercials, but man if that wasn't the cutest and smoothest transition into the sponsor. Great job!
hey maaan, a couple of minor tips for artifact hunting (might not apply with some of the mods, but they work on vanilla anomaly):
- you can shoot artifacts and they move without despawning, use low caliber for precision or a shotgun blast to toss it off the field to a safe spot (be smart about it, the artifact WILL ricochet and can be tossed out of sight)
- only sell artifacts to scientist, every other faction does this, hence why they take a cut for acting as a middle man
- you can toss a random worthless ligth gun around instead of bolts by simply dropping them from the inventory
- you can visit recently looted anomalies instantly after a storm to find new artifacts for a quick buck (here's a caveat, every time i farm a field twice, the second time i only get basic artifacts, so maybe time affects newly spawned artifacts and letting them macerate will increase their tier)
if you find this useful, go smoke a joint with the green boyz at Freedom!
My favorite thing you make is long Stalker videos. You’re just great to listen to!
I'm running a disguised Military Stalker at the moment, I fully recommend it. Blending in with stalker groups for low key missions, or wearing your uniform when going in for high key raids with allies is a fun dynamic.
Do you recommend any disguises settings?
It’s awesome seeing you post a new Stalker video! I just started playing GAMMA again
18:56 "do you know Afrikaans", drewski's accent is wonderful
I'm an older guy and I like your vids a lot. Gambling your money is the worst waste of a life. They always say they make money gambling but they also have to hold 2 jobs to make ends meet. I used to play the trotters..... until I woke -up standing in front of the ATM for the 3rd time in 1 hour. I decided it's better to pay off all debts and then my paycheck stays home instead of going to someone else. That worked. Paid cash for our last home. Keep up the good work. Hey, just saw Matt's El Camino on Vice Grip Garage!
I love these long GAMMA videos, please keep 'em coming
If I had to guess it's got something to do with Russian magazine followers of the time 🤷♂
These Stalker videos are my favorite on your channel. Please keep them coming!
You know I really enjoy these more long form stalker videos!
Thank you Drewski for showing me the greatness that is this game.
I have been playing it non-stop since watching your previous entry. stalker Anomaly is the pinacle of survivor horror and your content around it enhances the experience. Amazing work and thank you!
32:31 bro that was a Chimera Hunter, the highest burst damage gun in the game, i spent so long looking for one in my last playthrough noooo
Out of all the videos u do, the stalker vids are my favorite. keep em coming. the longer, the better!
It's not boring at all i really like contents like this from your channel keep it up
just binged so much stalker content yesterday, very happy to see this out. Thanks homie
The Cordon military checkout is no joke now. The AI revamp is unreal.
I started a midnight sniper raid on it, and hooooly moley, those NPCs are some super soldiers. Especially at night. Gawd damn.
yea, stalkers weird man.
As a person who lives 120kms from Pripyat', I can say that scenary in all Stalker games are pretty acurate
Nah man the long videos, especially STALKER Gamma ones are the best :)
This game is frustratingly awesome.. it’s only dogs lol not when 7 of them come thru the bush, 2 cats and 3 snorks and you just spent 10 minutes getting to that point… love this game
theres something about these vids and the length of them that make it great. did my laundry and cleaned some stuff. thanks drew!
You could've updated the game, you could've found out that you can now do ledge grab.
These long Stalker videos are some of my favourites on RUclips. Love your work Drewski!
STALKER Gama is the best of the best experiences.
I am so obsessed with stalker content from him.
yessss, I started playing this because of your videos. You are the destroyer of my sleep schedule!
Love the videos. PLayed all 3 stalkers, but never this mod. No time to play it now, so thanks for showing it in this format.
Your videos fill that same niche, with the twist of having the entertainment value of your commentary.
imagine a coop with this.
I'm almost nervous for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to come out, its gonna have so much to live up to with how much love the mod community put into the first one.
Humans are simple creatures; we see Drewski video, we watch.
Love the Stalker series, Always glad when a new, Long Video from you pops up in my feed
Roses are red, violets are blue
I’m here because Drewski uploaded, and so are you
The Stalker videos you uplad are really fun to watch while i also play stalker, kinda feels like you are running in the zone with a buddy chatting on the radio :)
I personally love your longer form content, you're really interesting to watch and listen to. Love your solo content when you're talking to the chat.
Keep up the amazing work brother, absolutely flawless.
I love these hour+ long episodes !! please keep making them
hey druski i just wanted to say that the last stalker video you posted actually got me into it and ive enjoyed every second of it never be too scared to make another these are amazing !
Your playthroughs are literally keeping my sanity up right now (been through a rough time in a country in the middle of a slow-burn recession), so, from the depth of my heart, thank you ❤️
47:51 indeed, extremely fun to watch, every second of it without skipping.
The vibe is so good idk why.
Maybe because the game is basically Brazil simulator and im Brazilian😂
I could watch your Stalker Gamma videos forever, if there was ever that much content of it. I don't know what it is... Something about the radioactive wasteland in this game seems chill.
It's even a better feeling when you are doing it all on ironman.
Have a nice hour long video that isnt endless loud noise is a massive relief. I can just sit down with a meal and enjoy watching ya boi Drew play stalker. A dream come true in a world of nonsense
LOL the segway to the WoT promotion was flawless :D:D:D:D Love it
I really love these longer format videos with a kinda conversation/education/story telling times spread throughout. Your commentary is always intelligent and these vids have become my go-to lunch time entertainment. Keep up the good stuff man

man WE NEED MORE OF THESEEEEE!!! I'm halfway through this video and I'm dreading the fact this video ia going to end. please never stop making these videos.
Absolutely love the long form Stalker vids! I knew next to nothing about Stalker until I watched your first GAMMA video, but then I bought the original trilogy, and have been hooked ever since. Now that I'm playing GAMMA, it's really been scratching that single-player survival itch! Plus, I learn new strategies and ways to play from these vids I never would've picked up on my own! Definitely keep these longer ones coming. Also looking super forward to your inevitable Stalker 2 videos when it finally releases ;)
my obsession for stalker grew every upload you make I cant currently play stalker gamma but i can at least enjoy stalcraft hey your gameplay at least does not make me alien to the game
Your Stalker content is great and I look forward to seeing it on my video feed 😁
Plus, the longer form versions of these videos are great and I enjoy watching the longer cuts of your playthrough sessions.
u may not see this but I love watching these stalker videos in the background while I do my dev work
