Top 10 things to do in the Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is a 50-kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. It’s a popular holiday destination, with sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages. The beautiful coastal road winds between the port city of Salerno and the clifftop city of Sorrento with views of grand villas, terraced vineyards, and cliffside lemon groves.
Amalfi Coast Travel Tips:
- Fly into Naples or Rome then take a rental car or public transportation to the coast.
- Driving on the coast can be intimidating, but definitely doable.
- Public transportation is another option to get around. Busses are available and ferries are a great option to get around to towns such as Positano and Amalfi.
- Recommend visiting during the off season in months such as May or September outside peak tourist months.
