Of ALL of the characters, I would think he would've been the prodigy. The one to rise above it all and live a great life. He didn't even get to graduate high school! I'm disappointed that the show ended with a very negative and disappointing death.
I feel the same way😭 He was my hope that things could get better. But his death was just like Hannah's... a very slow suicide. And you'd think after Hannah's suicide Clay and Jess would've done everything the stop Justin from doing the same thing. But i felt like they were so rude to him this season, which helped him relapse on top of the death of his mom.

I knew an STD was coming they covered everything (suicide, school shooting, drugs, sex, teen pregnancy, etc) but the consequences of unprotected sex and just life. It wasn’t supposed to happen this way but it made sense due to season 1 and his back story!😢🤦🏾♀️

Justin's death was so sad, but honestly stop saying that he deserved better- it's a series. If there wasn't a tragic death then it wouldn't be emotional like it should be
justins death was so hard for me to comprehend because it came out of nowhere. the entire season 4 he was fine, and the last episode he went downhill sooo quick.
Justin dying made me sad but in a sense made me relieved cause his character would escape his addiction trouble.. it is heartbreaking though because you have to see Jess dance with him and then see clay mentally fall apart and it was so hard to see them suffer from it all.. but at the same time I feel as if that happening gave clay and Jess a back bone to be able to handle letting go of Bryce and Hannah and moving on but remembering the lesson they learned from all of these people. I myself had a hard time forgetting stuff in life and this finale helped me realize: people can screw things up in your life but you can walk away from them, get help, and move on and learn ways to cope with the bad so that you can get to the happy and to love those around you because it’s harder to do so and hating is so easy to do. Be kind everyone we don’t know what the other person is going through in life.
Brandon and Ross should play as best friends or boyfriends in another show or movie. -where they both survive and have a happy ending (with lots of fanservice)-

I personally think that Justin should have lived. He was the HOPE of all the characters. He grew throughout the series and he got the chance to see him face it all. The series was great but of all the characters, Justin Foley should have lived to have a better life. 🥺
There's no point in getting good looking casts if the storyline and acting was bad. And it was a mishmash of issues that really didn't deal with anything. And that it only portrays that you can kill someone (eventhough he was a bad person), blame it on someone, and get away with it. It's ok to murder someone. And yet at the ending it gives contact details to helplines for youth if they are going through some issue. Murdering people and getting away with it is a good example of helping youth about dealing with suicide.

He did graduate his degree is seen at the end when clay holds it, but he never got to be there.
