I would say this is a new style for Emma and is an inspiration and derived from many other youtubers? I wouldn’t say it’s a complete copy because there is something different, and it’s bringing forth her personality. But I wish I knew who originally created this general style of editing.

Yes, you can tell the big difference in how she states her thoughts/opinions. Not to read to much into it lol but she comes off more confident compared to older videos.
What a huge shift from her usual editing style, every video feels almost like a micro-movie. The soundtrack, the framing, the flow between topic/discussion, observation of her daily activities without commentary, and watching the world from her POV is kind of incredible. It feels like how my thoughts are laid out and switch between observing myself doing things, sometimes having a running stream-of-consciousness commentary, and then sometimes just casually observing my surroundings. It feels so comfortable and natural to view, it’s a really nice experience.
i couldn’t place the feeling her new content has been giving, but it feels like melancholy - and it’s utterly beautiful and comforting yet feels like a complete perspective change, like if growing up had a sensation - bittersweet.

Emma says she doesn’t have an artist eye but her camera skills suggest otherwise. She has a way of making her videos seem personal and calming but also entertaining and engaging.
Yeah she’s definitely an artistic person. Drawing and painting is just a weird one because we have some idea of what we want to paint and if we can’t make the connection from mind to hand then it always ends up wrong. Maybe if we just be happy with whatever comes out the painting will always be good. Like the cat she painted, not a perfect cat painting, but cool none the less.

The part where she was doodling just cause she likes it no matter the result was honestly the sweetest. I struggle a lot with hobbies or stuff that's supposed to be just for fun and especially if I'm not immediately great at them. I usually overwork myself and only do things that contribute to my studies/career or try to find reason behind everything. So seeing Emma be so relaxed and genuinely enjoy something for the sake of having fun made me realize that I am neglecting some things in my life that I should be prioritizing like mental health, personal time, rest, enjoying exploring new hobbies, etc. I think it's time to take up dancing again and maybe even try electric guitar. I hope Emma will keep on doing the stuff she enjoys and take a break if she needs to ❤️
As someone who has always surrounded themselves with hobbies in music and art, we all do this! Don't feel guilty for not being productive, or inspired. Do encourage yourself! Do play the electric! I've been playing for over 10 years now, the electric is very forgiving. Just get a small, clean sounding amp on a budget, learn how to tune the sound, and you will have a blast! I’m someone who is extremely embarrassed if I’m not good at something artistic because my family is artistic, so if I mess up a painting or something, I won’t want to do it ever again. Expecting yourself to be good at everything without practice can take away some great experiences, and I’m really glad Emma recognizes that.
Definitely! I relate so much to that. I recently read a quote that said "It is impossible to get better and look good at the same time. Give yourself permission to be a beginner. By being willing to be a bad artist, you have a chance to be a an artist, and perhaps, over time, a very good one." I think this is a very true statement :) I'm trying to let myself be bad so hopefully I can improve and become an artist I can be proud of in the future! That’s such a nice outlook to have. I’m someone who is extremely embarrassed if I’m not good at something artistic because my family is artistic, so if I mess up a painting or something, I won’t want to do it ever again. Expecting yourself to be good at everything without practice can take away some great experiences, and I’m really glad Emma recognizes that.

Definitely! I relate so much to that. I recently read a quote that said "It is impossible to get better and look good at the same time. Give yourself permission to be a beginner. By being willing to be a bad artist, you have a chance to be a an artist, and perhaps, over time, a very good one." I think this is a very true statement :) I'm trying to let myself be bad so hopefully I can improve and become an artist I can be proud of in the future! Hopefully you can give yourself a chance and be less hard on yourself too! Hope you have a great day :)

I’ve realized the vibe I get from her new editing style is the same one that I got from watching Inside when Bo would talk to the camera, it’s calm and collected, but you still kept your own style to it! I really love this!
this style resembles Emma's essence so much better, I feel like its the perfect mix of authenticity and just random shots but that mix ends up creating a specific feeling in the video instead of her explaining what shes feeling . idk if she means for it to be as deep as i see it but i just think its so nice the way shes experimenting with the medium of vloging :D
