Finding using the sequencer to make drum loops to resample to be fast for my workflow when i'm not in the mood for sequencing an entire beat (which i rarely am lmao!).
Man, those video are so cool, Idk what it is, but the beat is so alive, it's crazy! Like, with normal beats, the beat is static, but here, it just keeps moving and changing, I just love it! The drums are never on the same time, and that's what make it so dope! Plus, the sample choice, man, Idk where you find them, but your samples are always so good! Especially those ones! The voices, the saxs, the drums, everything is just thriving!
Yeah this style has really kinda invigorated my interest in beat making. I personally like to imagine it like being a blues player with his guitar playing their twangy mantras with there slight variations adding to the individual dance of each take. Suppose you can think jazz to. Not that there's a terrible amount of equality in the skill it takes to do this vs that (I find anyone who masters instruments and all the theory required to solo jazz mind bendingly incredible), but it definitely helps get in the moment when the sequencing of patterns isn't inspiring for me. Thanks so much though Ooohla! Hope you have a good day!
@@anjovimusic Yeah, that's what I love about this! You take old stuff to make them new again! You re-arrange samples to make them sound different! And most importantly, you make it live! That's what I don't quite like about beats nowadays, it's that the drums are always on time, and it lacks this kinda human vibe... Anyway, I like what you're doing bro! Thanks to you for creating those! Have a nice day too!
