    Had a blast making this mushroom w/door and painting it. Been whittling for a month and loving every minute of it, thanks to you. After the 'shroom, I took the plunge and carved my first caricature - your hillbilly/gnome. Followed your tutorial (play & pause) using a drop cloth in my living room while I sat in a chair and carved it. It came out great. I'm hooked. Time for me to carve the others. More, more, more.

    I think it would be nice if you took some time during this series and talked about sealers. Your owls looked great natural. You could offer some good advice on the differences between mineral oil, linseed oil, beeswax… ect. I know you do that in your other videos but some of the newer people may have issues finding those videos.

    Doug wow more options to try out but about the morel mushroom how to carve that next video im very interested to try that too as I seen plenty about your wife is lucky to have a talented guy as you but bet she has a pop at you with wood chips around lol .     My husband and I love your little carvings, the mushroom people and houses are wonderful, we follow you on the TV but often forget to come to our computer to like the video, My husband carves walking sticks but had lost interest until he started watching you months ago, Doug if possible could you tell us what store we can find the magazine the woodcarvers illustrated, because we have no way to order it online, being seniors we do not trust the sites as not always sure of what we are doing, You are awesome and we really enjoy the content, Thank you for sharing your talent
