Great tutorials so far. I think your tutorials are a great addition to all those that already exist. I think you will have a great future. Thank you for sharing and creating tutorials.
Hi Lara. I have just discovered your teaching videos. They are really well done and your teaching is exceptional. Would you tell me what low G string set you use? I have been using the Aquila Red on my tenor but am tired of it's tuning instability. Many thanks.
Hi Lara, what a great tutorial, thanks so much. I was looking at the books you suggest, I’m considering the Ukulele Aerobics book, do you recommend that for beginners? If so, why? Thanks again!
Hi Jerry, thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed this tutorial! The Ukulele Aerobics book says that it's for Beginner to Advanced but in my opinion it's more Intermediate (or Beginner Plus) to Advanced. It's broken up into 40 lessons with the suggestion of 1 lesson per week. Each lesson has new strumming patterns, scale exercises, fingerstyle practice, licks, etc, and it builds fairly quickly. If you're at the point that you can comfortably transition between common chords and you have the desire to improve your fingerpicking skills, then I would recommend giving it a try. You can move through it at whatever pace is comfortable for you. I hope this helps :)
Lara Markowitz Hi Lara! I am loving your recommendation of the Ukulele Aerobics book! Thanks again! I wanted to share with you this RUclips channel! It’s pretty amazing and very helpful! ruclips.net/channel/UC7awOSYDZhm1q3_vAEJJxgA
That's a great question! It helps to have some curve to your hand and approach the strings at a good angle. I demonstrate here in my tutorial on left hand tips: ruclips.net/video/_JFy3kHcpI4/видео.html

How do I keep my hand from touching the other strings
