nigel the kung kung ta game is korean alphabet. look at the beginning characters and the ending characters. it doesn't work the same with the english alphabet. you see how joons word ended in 기 and then jin word started with 기. jins word ended in 표 then jungkooks word started with 표. and so on.
them falling asleep so quickly just shows how tired they were at the time. :') like, they were in deep slumber literally after 30 minutes.
also, Jk didn't budge at all when he fell off from the mattress. 🤣 & Suga was just laughing at him instead of helping. 😆
This was so fun! It really is confusing for non-Korean speakers that it always gets translated as 'letter' instead of 'syllable'!
Jk was hilarious being asleep 90% of the video, but the way Jimin was just sat staring is even funnier to me. Also Suga's energy & enthusiasm during Kung Kung Ta was so funny 🤣🤣.

their “letter” is a syllable for us. so “gi” is a letter for them. and “gi” and “ki” is the same letter for them. that’s why jk’s word started with “ki”

Even though they talk about the ‘letters’ in the words of Kung Kung Ta, what they really mean is syllables…The Korean language is written and spoken more as words made up of *syllables* rather than individual letters. So the next person has to start a word with the last syllable of the previous word....RMs word ended with the syllable 'GI' so JKs word started with the syllable 'GI'...... Some words were written in the subtitles with different letters because in Korean the G sound is interchangeable with a hard C sound, and their B sound is interchangeable with a P sound... It's confusing for us westerners, but still fun to watch, and I've enjoyed learning these things about the Korean language

In the kung kung ta game they were showing in the captions the romanized(like the way you pronounce) way of korean words, is very hard to understand if you don't know the hangul(alphabet), some letters can stand for two letters(ㄱ stands for K and G for exemple). Is like if their word ends with gi, the next person can say a word that has the first letter that sounds like ki, because both stands for the same letter "ㄱ", the romanized way is hard to understand because just shows what the letters are and how do you pronounce it. And yeah they have to say a word that starts with the last letter of the word that the person before them said.

just wanted to tell you more about jimins photofolio since u were interested in it. everyone is saying the freedom part of the photo shoot is him coming out as queer. queer bc we don't know his exact labels. if you don't know, Korea is an extremely conservative country. you can't just state that you are queer out loud in words. especially not if you're famous and the biggest group there. he would be in extreme danger if he did that. so celebrities only way to say that their queer is through coming out in the from of hints and stuff like this. they literally can't just say it. people have pointed the facts that he probably is coming out from the official bisexual colors, to the rainbow necklace he's wearing, to the shirt that is made by a queer person made for the statement that love is love, to the tattoos on his arms that say "free love", to the statue he poses with who is apollo- who is known to be bisexual. and the fact that he had complete control over this entire photoshoot. he picked and planned everything himself down to the details. this photo shoot is supposed to be all about him and no one else so its pretty clear.
and just to add that we are NOT confirming his sexuality, this is just how we observe the whole theme that he choose.
but from my vision he is just an adult boy who has a very normal personality generally for a man it's just that he has a lot of character like that he always says "sexy, cute, lovely And have feminim men" The point is he's just a normal guy who has a lot of advantages

They said "he HAS a lot of character like that" and In English, a person's character means "the traits and qulities that distinguish a person's nature".
So A person HAS character traits. A character, on the other hand, is; for example; like a cartoon character or a character in a play. Every cartoon character has their own characteristics that define them. I believe he meant Jimin has a lot of characteristics "like that"...whatever he meant by "that" I don't know though, because no characteristics nevessarily will reveal to you a person's sexuality.

I am just sad that right after this is when Jimin was sick when they landed in Macau and had to go to the ER and had to sit out most of the performance there, which really upset him.

For Kung Kung Ta it’s not actually the last letter it’s actually first letter of the last syllable in Hangul. Also the letter for k and g are written the same but sound different depending the letter before and/or after it.

Their letters are more of an equivalent of an english syllable. Like their alphabet is 'gi' (pronounced as key) not just the letter G.

watching you trying to figure out the kung kung ta game is stressing me out if you looked at the words on the screen..you’d see for ex namjoon said “기중기” in that word the last letter is “기” which is “gi” or “ki” so jin then said “기러기” started and ended with “기” so then jungkook said “기차표“ which started with the “기” again…idk if you get it idk if it made sense but i tried 😭😭
Make sure you spemd plenty of good quality time with your mom, while she is there because we are not going anywhere, I'm sure you don;t get that much time these days when she is in town with you so relax and be with her. ....you got thousands of us, but only one mom, and she is a great one obviously going by who you are.

I honestly think that Namjoon was right in the Kung Kung Ta game. He said rock genre, which pronounced in Korean is very similar, except how we say genre {john-ruh}, in Korean, it is more {jangleu}. They took it to not translate to a noun in Korean, but that is not true. I don't think the producers understood. Not to mention, even the translation is very close. Namjoon should've received that point. The mistake was Jimin, he didn't take the ending to create a new word right. Like they di with "gi", and JK picked a word that began "Ki" because of how interchangeable it is.
Not related to the video but with all sincerity and respect please do not watch the Dahmer Netflix series. The families of the victims are still alive and are urging everyone not to support this show. They are also not even being paid for this and Netflix is profiting off trauma. These were real events and racism and homophobia is being turned into entertainment and is very disrespectful.

My understanding is that if someone said tea (a 3 letter word) then the next 3 letter word would start with the ending letter of the first word? Correct. TEA - ATE. SEE - EAT. DOG - GOD. MAN - NET. Am I understanding it correctly. I may by understanding the English way. Our alphabets as opposed to their syllables or letters, correct? I know for a fact if they were doing it with the English alphabet, my understanding would be correct. Now, I'm prone to think that Namjoon purposely did that so Jin's team can win.
