I lived in Hobart for many years but I never got around to climbing the mountain on foot, so thanks for showing me what a serious assault on kunyanyi looks like. People in Hobart are always looking at the mountain, because that's where the weather usually comes from. If you can't see it...look out. It's probably about to rain, although, in general, the Wellington Range protects Hobart so that the annual precipitation is only 566 mm, which shocks many people. It's the second driest Australian capital.
