This is proof that Bishop is not useless.
Besides, I was able to get a checkmate with 2 bishops & a knight without castling or using my rooks in my final 4th match in a local unranked state tournament back in March this year. That game I played helped me & my team get 3rd place in our district & also get mentioned as one of the top 3 players from my district.
