Wow.. the story of the man who experienced the violet pink light that downloaded information to him.. In 2018 while I was living in San Diego, I was sitting on my balcony at night and felt something energetic hit me in the forehead between the brows from the outside. I experienced my pineal gland open. It was like in the movies when an alien puts their fingers on a person's forehead and transfer information. Another day while walking I could see/sense a light of that pinkish color coming through the top of my head from above. This was a start of some absolutely insane experiences and transmutation for me.
thank you for this video! i too have learned of Gnosticism from PKD. i think its really brilliant and important that you mention paranoia and panic that those who seek sometimes end up in. even PKD himself would indulge in or write in a very paranoid and panicked manner. i have found my peace or middle road though it sometimes has its bumps like any other road. i hope you can shed a little light on this so others can learn to at least find a way to, like you said, constructive outcomes.

I have grown in my approach to gnosticism since seeing your channel for the first time back in 2021. I can relate to the idea of us being early christians trapped within the roman societies shackles.
Your thoughts are very very similar to how I've been accepting Gnosticism in my life over the last 3/4yrs or so. That "middle path" you talk about, the sort of "Luciferian" implications of "Xristos" or "Gnosis" is exactly how I've been describing it. It's must be a growing Paradigm. Very looking forward to the next video.
Gnosis was one of the goals of the great mystery schools.. whereby one can come to "know thyself" and as Aristotle said “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” - Aristotle. This is what Jesus , Osiris, krishna, mithras et al are telling you how to do through symbolic allegory
Proverbs 9:10 predates Aristotle by ~550 years... The Divine grant of an intuitive conscience is aboriginal to the 'man' kind, demonstrating the vested likeness of the human mind and heart to those of our Progenitor, the Heavenly Father.
Excellent video Denis. I've very recently started a deep dive back into Christian scriptures (including what the churches have rejected, of course), so perfect timing for me.
It's also been fascinating for me revisiting these concepts that were so foundational to everything else that came after for me. But wow! this video did not come easy xD What normally takes one to two days took me a full week!

Any study of Gnositicism should include Elaine Pagels' The Gnostic Gospels. She is a well-respected historian of early Christianity. On Dick, there are a number of movies of his works, including A Scanner Darkly, and also many movies influenced by his thought, including The Matrix, Dark City, and The Sixth Sense, which depends heavily on Dick's Ubik. The most authentic Dickian movie is Radio Free Albemuth. The book was put together by a friend of Dick's after his death, from notes, but it is a good representation of Dick's mature thoughts.
An interesting thought I just had. I believe that the Bible we got nowadays is different then of what the source material was because it was in the end edited by humans and Roman empire used it to enhance their power/standing. God knew of this and thats why despite the edits and the cutout stuff. It still preserves (more or less) the main original message that was intended to be received. I'm seeing the other stuff resurfacing now as Gods/Worlds/Universe/call it whatever telling us that we are now ready to receive this knowledge
I know you're just making a joke, but his experience wasn't under the influence of drugs. She was delvering his pills to him which he hadn't even taken yet when he had his experience.
Gnosis is knowledge gained through experience. Experience obtained when someone is able to become conscious of their existence. Everything else is just a reflection.
I think Steiners cosmology is a "middle ground " between pure gnosticism and exoteric churchianity. In his cosmology we are part of earth and the perfected "way" is to evolve with the earth . We descend deep into matter in order to fully individuate and then re-spiritualize as an individual soul.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but my basic superficial understanding of the bare-bones narrative of "Gnosticism" via Nag Hammadi, is that the entire physical _universe_ (and adjoining Planes) is the misbegotten creation of a misbegotten Creator, either directly or through His cohorts. I don't think I can "roll" with that. It's a big universe. Moreover, it inserts a fetid duality between the corporeal realm (lowly, outside and bereft of Divinity) and the more pleasing, energetic non-physical domains of Existence beyond. My suspicion is that those who writhe in revulsion against their flesh (been there, done that, _still_ not really digg'n it) are condemned to be reincarnated back into it, until they can realize the ultimate 'Divinity' inherent within it, and all things in this lower domain, particularly relating to the Earth experience. This weird haunted planet rides the knife's edge of being an existential boot-camp for a soul to grow through, while also being an effective concentration/prison-camp for those who can't transcend their illusions. Not recommended, at any rate. Unless your soul enjoys extreme pain, or extreme pleasure morphing-into extreme pain. That seems to be the basic Program here... fun fun _fun_
Really well written. Myself, I love the physical world in all of its pain, arbitrariness, and frustration. Its beauty amazes me, and it's fragility moves me.
I’ve been reading PKD since I was 15 or 16. I think he is the macrophage he wrote about in the tractate. I read as many of his books as I could get my hands on and nobody but me and two friends knew who he was. He died around a year and a half after we discovered him. The first story I read was Father Thing in The Best of Philip K. Dick. Flow My Tears was the first novel I read. Shortly afterwards, I read VALIS and that book consumed my life ever.
Have you heard of John Lamb Lash and his book "Not in His Image"? It's a wholly different take on Gnosticism. To be looked at with a grain of salt though
I love that book. It makes more sense to me than any other explanation. Let's face it the earth is a living being .and with the sun grows our plants fruits veg which sustains life
Ciao Denis, from a qabalistic point of view where would we find Yaldebaoth? If there is such . Would he stand above or behind Kether, or would he be between Malkuth and yesod? Or malkuth itself? Is my question pure heresy? If it is , feel free to ignore it
My occultists use of the Ph or Peh of Hebrew פ which can be used for the letter F is switched with V or Vav Peh being the letter of Rah Hoor Khuit instead of the Demiurge of the Hierophant and Taurus (Vav). Making Valis become Phallis
Are you referring to the word "phallus'? Wouldn't you say that's a stretch? VALIS stands for Vast Active Living Information System. In other words gnosis. Nothing Freudian here - except maybe on your end? 😜
My gateway to this was through fantasies of the leviathan. I made a story similar to alchemical texts without realizing what they were with leviathan as the setting
Loved this video. You got a sub from me. I actually just baught the book Valis. I already have the Nag Hamati scriptures and I learned about Gnosis from the recent book, The Imortality Key by Brian M.
13:10 That's so funny! I love academia but I'm pretty careful with who I trust for anything more than "just the facts" (academics with bad opinions are the worst) but between this and the last video I think I "get you". I've always been a little torn.. I could never place it. It's not that I find this boring maybe it is that I find it boring? Boring is entirely underrated. And it wasn't that I disagreed.. and I finally figured it out. We're approaching from the same perspective and I couldn't tell because you're so careful about keeping your thoughts separate. So, prompted by 'an esoteric understanding of the bible', might I solicit you for your recommends on the books of the bible for study towards that end? I've been wanting to read it completely, but.. there's a lot, I don't read often and if I'm reading the bible I'm going to be heading down a rabbit hole every other word. I find it helps to inform on 'what this means' but most of the people I talk to are more interested in 'what this says', so it's hard to find an opinion I trust here but at this point I'd guess you're entirely familiar with my plight.
I don’t quite get how folks end up panicking about the cosmology. Christ was sent to give us gnosis. By a miracle, these works were saved and are making their way into the zeitgeist. Did you ever do a follow up?
Wow, pkd part about pink light gmdata transfer. I had similar experience happen with a red dripping light while thinking about the alt shapes of earth, Crater, flat. Iy felt like an attack , I was paralyzed for many hours, whole able to move my 👀.
@Foolish Fish, I very much like your're summary, but I have one thought and I could not bounce it off anyone yet, perhaps it makes sense to you. Sophia, tried to create a mate, a duality , for the father, her thought could have been that all the aeons both have a masculine and feminine counterpart, thus if I look at the result of her creation, the blind ignorant one thinking he is the supernal being, I come to the conclusion, that she wanted to create a counterpart for the father. Just a thought!
Eradicated and did the most to remove the nose with the gnosis and removed the noses of the genetic Pharos with the pharomones. Follow your knows, it's always gnose
There is no question in my mind that PKD was on to something somewhere between enlightened and insane; with the upshot that he was getting or had gotten some sort of unique download. Anyone who has read his work at any depth can see that we are dealing with something like genius. He is not easy to read, often very dark, often self aware and cynical, often a product of the zeitgeist whence he formed. A Scanner Darkly is not my favorite novel of his, I found much of it to be disturbing and tedious, but it is genius nonetheless. He worked too hard, and dug himself an early grave. The Exegesis of PKD is like 1000 pages. He wrote it frantically, and wasn't meant for any eyes but his own.
I had an experience similar to Philip k. I interacted with a handful of what most people that I've heard talk about them as "dmt entities" or jinn. One was the same entity that Ezekiel describes. Wheels within wheels with spokes connecting them (go look up metatrons cube). I remember thinking (wtf is that shape.... And why is it staring at me)

Wow.. the story of the man who experienced the violet pink light that downloaded information to him..
I swear that it's living inside of us all. I know for sure you are indeed my Brother! God bless you and happy thanksgivings!

Happy thanksgiving to you, @K D!
I love your work brother. Best wishes
thank you for this video! i too have learned of Gnosticism from PKD. i think its really brilliant and important that you mention paranoia and panic that those who seek sometimes end up in. even PKD himself would indulge in or write in a very paranoid and panicked manner. i have found my peace or middle road though it sometimes has its bumps like any other road. i hope you can shed a little light on this so others can learn to at least find a way to, like you said, constructive outcomes.
This is absolutely the planned topic for the next video :)
@@FoolishFishBooks Can't wait
A beautiful, short, and sweet summary of an otherwise quite complex and layered topic... especially from a devotional approach. Kudos my friend, you always seem to successfully circumvent the conundrum pitfalls. ;)
Haha! THank you for the kind words, dear Gabriel!
Just you wait until next video xD Just dipping toes for now. But considering these 15 minutes took me a full 7 days to complete (compared to a usual 2 or 3), I wonder what the next one's going to take!
Denis, in 15 mins, you delivered modern context, historical context, an understanding of the texts and also early faiths of Christianity (they didn’t necessarily call themselves Gnostic back then) and on top of that you described the Sethian cosmology in a consumable way…. 👏 Making it look easy always takes a long time. Great job.
Oh i'm looking forward to the next part
Thank You, I needed this good Sir.
Glad you liked it, George! 😄🙏
HIGHLY recommend John Lamb Lash... a lifetime of work to dive through. Worth it.
Thanks brother 🙏blessed be!!
Sorry about my previous subscription lapsed. The method expired and got me flat footed. But I’ve fixed that and went to another tier. Thanks for your excellent work and Merry Christmas
Thank you so much. Joe! I just saw! That's incredibly kind and helpful! Very best wishes to you, and a Merry Christmas!
Mate, you've done it again. I so need to do a "deep dive" into Philip K... (Ohh err) & get a boxed set. Then read the Meyer Nag Hammadi script. Both of which have been on "the list" for a while but I've been body swerving!
My poor narrow boat is slowly turning into the soggy library of Alexandrea!
I must admit that from your description I can't understand the way that the Cathar "perfects" were able to out quote the inquisitors in the Albian Heresy, but sure I will get there!
Good vid- eh bienne, c'est l'e doc....
12:36 Sophia is the Greek word for "wisdom", not to be confused with LOGOS, or "expression of thought" or "word" as per John 1:1, a title given by John to our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Sophia, what is that?"
"A smoothie"
🤣🤣
😂
@@FoolishFishBooks In Genesis 24 and 25, the beginning of the Jacob and Esau drama, Jacob is described as (in one translation) a smooth or bald one, unlike his hairy older brother. Another smoothie to add to your collection, dear sir.
Sophia is in nag jammed means wisdom in greek. Interestingly many st Sophia churches in Greece and the first christian church was hagia Sophia Istanbul but now a mosque..the word wisdom is used in the bible..I can't remember which bit now but it says she was here at the beginning. I like john lamb lash on it
This has happened like 4-5 times with other videos of you and someone like @esoteric but I literally bought the complete texts of the Nag Hammadi yesterday, and then this comes out today...
I study this stuff a lot. It’s very interesting and helps to explain current events.
Never really read into Gnosis. Thanks for making it easy to understand
Delighted this helps, Enrique! 😄🙏
Absolutely unique and fine content. thank you.
more please! really nice explanation
I’m still trying to wrap my head around what exactly Abraxas is. People make him seem like the Demiurge, while others say he’s an Archon.
The Wikipedia page is worth a look. I'm sure I'll get round to Abraxas/Abrasax in due course in this series :)

Hahaha! :D Yep, gets me every time xD
Thank you for the links!
Too bad I'm a single, broke mother. I'd love to hear more. Good job.
Excellent video. You got Jesus’s true message right.
I believe tht the first time that I encountered Gnosticism, was while reading the Seventh Sword by Andrew Collins, as a teenager.
Thank you!!
Can you do some more videos on gnosticism for beginners this is fascinating. Other texts such as Enoch would also be super
"Aion is a child playing, playing checkers; the kingship belongs to a child," says the old man Heraklitos. If I may, I'd like to recommend watching Ergo Proxy anime. I think you'll enjoy the ride, or maybe not :) By the way, it was none other than you who directed at me a pink laser beam, i.e. the superposition of Valis and gnosticism, through one of your early videos. So I'm deeply grateful for that pink gift, sensei!
Thank you @rheaklitos! I don't know that anime. Thanks for the tip!
@@FoolishFishBooks my pleasure!
This video is great. Thanks
oh my god, plesase upload the final part.
I don't know about the next ones......
Waiting waiting and waiting.
Thank you.
Excellent 🙏
Those must have been some fantastic meds he got from that nurse!!!
My thoughts exactly!
I know you're just making a joke, but his experience wasn't under the influence of drugs. She was delvering his pills to him which he hadn't even taken yet when he had his experience.
Hehe! But yes, Devin is right. The experience happened before he had a chance to take the meds 😊
@@genghisgalahad8465 😳😳😳😳 yes, what Genghis said...!!
We descend deep into matter in order to fully individuate and then re-spiritualize as an individual soul.
churchianity...that is awesome...stealing the term, ty.
too much exicited for the final part.
Great vid.
Thank you for sharing
Again, such a fascinating subject. Is there any connection between the early Christianity and the name of your channel, I wonder?
I can't pretend that's a complete coincidence 😜
@@FoolishFishBooks interesting!😉
I recommend the youtube channel Unleash The Light, it talks about how gnosis is achieved through the HGA
This made my brain exploded 🤯
Yes, this is essentially what I'll be addressing in the next video 😊👍
Really well written. Myself, I love the physical world in all of its pain, arbitrariness, and frustration. Its beauty amazes me, and it's fragility moves me.
I would love for a third video
I’ve been reading PKD since I was 15 or 16. I think he is the macrophage he wrote about in the tractate.
I read as many of his books as I could get my hands on and nobody but me and two friends knew who he was.
He died around a year and a half after we discovered him.
The first story I read was Father Thing in The Best of Philip K. Dick.
Flow My Tears was the first novel I read. Shortly afterwards, I read VALIS and that book consumed my life ever.
Wow! That was great.
Hi Seven, I'm delighted you liked it! :D
I 100% believe I received this same “download”. And I’ve been unpacking it ever since. It was a orange light with me tho

Can you help me which book to read on gnosticism, The Secret History of the Gnostics by Andrew Phillip Smith or Gnosticism by Stephan A. Hoeller?
I'm afraid I know neither. In all honesty, I would recommend reading the source texts and making your own mind up 😉
@@FoolishFishBooks Thank you for your answer, that's a good suggestion actually.
C.W. King, The Gnostics and Their Remains, Ancient and Medieval.
@@branddann Thank you. I'll look this one up
Have you heard of John Lamb Lash and his book "Not in His Image"? It's a wholly different take on Gnosticism. To be looked at with a grain of salt though
I love that book. It makes more sense to me than any other explanation. Let's face it the earth is a living being .and with the sun grows our plants fruits veg which sustains life
Ciao Denis, from a qabalistic point of view where would we find Yaldebaoth? If there is such . Would he stand above or behind Kether, or would he be between Malkuth and yesod? Or malkuth itself? Is my question pure heresy? If it is , feel free to ignore it
I'd say possibly at Kether of the Assiah World, the Princess scale, maybe.
Good stuff
Where are these PKD comic strip illustrations from? I just bought the Comics Biography, but that's not it I'm guessing, that's in colour...
Also, would you say the Jung Codex is worth having?
All knowledge is manipulated by the controllers to rule and keep the masses in line.
Start at the beginning, and when you get bored, skip to Matthew and continue from there 😉👍
I don’t quite get how folks end up panicking about the cosmology. Christ was sent to give us gnosis. By a miracle, these works were saved and are making their way into the zeitgeist. Did you ever do a follow up?
Yes, two videos followed this one, they're linked in the description. 🙏
But the Father has a consort - Barbello
10:25 it reminds me of the Kemetic Memphite creation story the world came from the primordial waters of Nun.
Oh, man. Sub’d.
Wow!!! 🤯
To say the least! 😄
Gnosis is not just knowledge.
The pink beam came from the necklace the nurse was wearing.
Just catching up on this - just realising how polarization and manipulation was just as active back then as it is nowadays. Jeez!

I have the 1988 version of the Nag Hammadi.
Right! And still the 1000 published Exegesis pages are just a fraction of what he wrote - apparently he wrote enough pages to filll a garage!
And why is it staring at me)
To think i found gnosis first from Clive Bakers' Jericho video game 😆
