The reason why I love this run is because the fellow runners will always help you and it's almost like you've known each other forever! My family ran this for the past two years, and one year we ran alongside this one guy dressed as Waldo and his girlfriend. It was super awesome to hang out with them!
* UPDATE * - For my fifth anniversary of doing the Zombie Fun Run, I will be running 2 races this year (Nov 11th, 2017). One at 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM. Since I have survived 5 years without losing all of my flags, for the 12:30 wave I am going to do something different., I will be trying to run as fast as possible through the entire race without stopping. That means if I am all by myself and there's a field of zombies I will not stop to wait for others to join. This along with exhaustion will make it extremely difficult to keep any of my flags. Definitely will be in running gear rather than a Shaun of the Dead costume. My 2:00 wave will be for fun with friends and family. Come out and join me for either race.

I've done the night one both as a zombie and runner. While a lot of my friends like it, I'm not much of a fan because I feel you can't run fast or you will twist or break some part on your body from mud, holes or people. It's also in Nov so it's really cold at night. I made a video on it but was so dark my cameras couldn't pick anything up.
