  • Have you ever wondered what raising pigs is like? Are you looking for different ways to raise your pigs? I have a list of videos that show how we are raising pigs in Minnesota. We have them out on pasture and feed a low soy low corn feed that is non GMO. This little journey happened all because of one comment my husbands Dr. said back in 2018. Great video! Here are my questions. First is are you selling cuts? Or whole’s half’s? I’m just curious. Second, the hanging weight you spoke about that is no gut, correct?

We sell whole and half as there is not a USDA close. Hanging weight is gutted and ready to make cuts. I was very impressed with them.

I definitely hope to get cuts going in a year or so. We did bring some to a processor that is USDA near my in laws this year but that's 4.5 hrs away. Our local processor is 15mins away.

@@virnafarm9059 We have somewhat the same problem here. We have a local processor that has done our deer, cows and pigs for our homestead use. But the USDA processor is about two hours away. We have already gotten all the licences we need it's just time to get some meat in the freezer!
