Thanks, surely there was an agreement between Greece and Bulgaria, with mutual aid against the Ottomans. The Bulgarians take the dardanelles but Constantinople is independent for example.

C'est majoritairement à cause des échanges de population et l'assimilation. La Bulgarie à besoin de "bulgariser" le sud car majoritairement grec et turc, plus proche de la Grèce et de la Turquie, donc plus susceptible de vouloir se rapprocher de ses pays voisins.
Bonne idée de faire d'Istanbul/Constantinople une ville libre, si seulement les grandes puissances avaient songé à ça, ça aurait peut-être calmé les tensions entre nationalistes grecs et turcs
