there's some songs/videos that are surprisingly... wholesome i guess? Like the video for Suga Suga has a bunch of chicks in short clothes doing blue collar labor as the guys drive around town but if you check the lyrics he's actually singing about how much he appreciates his chick and how he's still so in love with her he feels high when he's around he. "you were there when the money gone/you'll be there when the money comes/you got me lifted shifted higher than the ceiling/ooey it's the ultimate feeling" like that's actually pretty damn romantic
The culmination of years of hard practice starting from total amateurship. I restarted DBZA with my GF from episode 1, and we're currently in the Frieza fight. Oh how far we've come already. We're just a saga away from perfection. Perfection of TFS, and perfection of the perfect character. This Sailor Moon work shows how much they understand cutting the fat, which a lot of Sailor moon is because of the Monster of the Week format with 5 minutes of serialized material. Pick out the best parts to use (which are the worst parts, like the 14/24 year old love stuff) and you have a recipe for humor.
The only possible critique I could give this abridged is that it moves so fast I can't keep up with all the amazing jokes. I literally have to rewind constantly because every one of them is so funny

Team Four Star making this many drag/ballroom culture references in two abridged series episodes was not something I had on my 2025/2026 Bingo card, but by god I’m not complaining.
It's great segway writing that made a lot of the earlier Seasons of Archer fun. It's perfect for the abridged style too. What I love is how the TFS team can pivot from the rapid fire puns and references into a pause that just drives home a sole one-liner when sequences that are meant to be more climatic.

Too be fair a commmon critique of the Sailor Moon Anime is that it's mostly filler and the pacing drags so TFS is trying to speed things up a bit.

It's great segway writing that made a lot of the earlier Seasons of Archer fun. It's perfect for the abridged style too. What I love is how the TFS team can pivot from the rapid fire puns and references into a pause that just drives home a sole one-liner when sequences that are meant to be more climatic.

I feel like the most underrated joke in this video is the Rhett Butler bit. It's just like the Africa bit. Every single line is a line from the movie while also doubling as a joke for the main show.
