Cause he played his heart out and made statements by breaking records, not just to make a name for himself but to also become greater than the one before. LeBron is also a leader and game changer, his efficiency per game is incredible which makes him a very valuable player to his team. In my opinion, I would take Kobe on 1v1 skills, offensive skills, dribbling skills, ball-handling skills. But if I want to choose one of them on my team, I'd choose LeBron. Lebron's court presence and dominance in transition, IQ and vision is just ridiculous. In terms of clutch, Lebron has been improving his confidence in clutch situations over the years but I'd still take Kobe over Lebron in the clutch.
