im at 6.34 and so far the only time i saved was waiting for somebody at my bank to answer.i did give my account details to something on a cloud? the information the bot needs like how many roses i have to feed and its me sending them too-i get an intern instead
I am sorry but this is exactly the type of explanation that I find indirect and tedious. I want a discussion on any subject to start with a high-level view that sets the context - what was the object of the product design, generalized capabilities, etc. before getting into specific examples. I find the “training” delivered here beneficial for specific use cases but not so good for anyone who has the intention to master the subject. After an overview of the subject is presented, then a few examples are fine. Then this can be followed up by further refinement of the design objects if appropriate. Is the purpose of a Chatbot to emulate human conversationist skills and possibly take the outcome from a specific conversation for a further related action? That was what I inferred at the higher level. Sounds like an expansion of “Expert Systems” functionality from some time ago by adding a language processor and an actor to initiate further actions. Clearly, this is my knee jerk reaction. I am going to check out the “Learn more links”.

I would like you to explain how you were able to write on the transparent board yet it is not backwards for the viewer!!!! Even if you are using a blending mode, I don't see how this is accomplished. You are facing the camera/viewer and your hand motions seems to be aligned with what is being written. I'm guessing you have practiced writing in reverse.
Kudos to IBM. She's done good to the video. Would you love to know more about Chatbot. I was also curious untill I meet with a professional that the justice to it and it helps my business grows to a premium hight.

That's the problem in this video. The actual key part is in the graphic containing NLP and AI which is just provided but is actually a blackbox. It is not explained further which makes the whole video kind of pointless.

@Davide Azzolini, A chat bot (Chatting Robbot) is a computer connected to a telephone, and connected to multiple APIs and databases. You program a chatbot to do certain things that humans do repeatedly, like picking up the phone and telling your customers what times you open, what you have in your inventory for sale, what time you close, etc. Your customer calls on the phone, and the chat bot that you preprogrammed, answers these simple questions about when you open, when you close, what you are selling, etc. The chatbot does this for you, so you can use your time to concentrate on other things in your business. So, a chat bot is just a computer that you pre-program to do certain repetitive tasks for you. Hope this helps a little.
Apart from saving time,simplicity the reason is the chat bot unlike humans will not ask for salary...one time investment....no leaves 24/7 available no breaks....no excuses...lolz and make the life of the employer better😅
