@@darv1932 - keep in mind the video shows the package and that gives external dimensions. The Bass Pro web site shows internal dimensions. The 5.23" x 3.46" x 1.85" internal dimensions is the correct size. Fits like a glove.
Hello. Just got my Hover. I also like the first hard case you showed at :22 (will hold extra batteries) and maybe even the black zipper one you showed at :25. Could you give me the names or links for those please? Thanks. 😊
That's the Pelican 1040 Micro Case: www.pelican.com/us/en/product/cases/micro/1040 The X1 will rattle around in it, but something like a strip of foam window insulation will gently keep it in place. The black zippered one was a random Amazon one and did not fit well. I'd stay away from that one! Good luck!
I noticed the dimensions listed on their website were different than the ones listed on the tag. I thnk they messed that up but it's the same product. If intereted, maybe contact them to confirm...good luck
This one (small size) on Amazon UK appears similar (or the same). I'm guessing they are all made in China then sourced and branded by different companies around the world. I can't be for sure that it is the same, but appears exactly the same as mine, even down to the space between the pattern on the lid. The listed dimension for size Small also match ours (6.5"L x 4.7"W x 2.05"H)...shows up in inches for us. Good luck! If the below link doesn't work, try searching for "Flambeau Outdoors 302HD HD Tuff Box 300" on Amazon UK www.amazon.co.uk/Flambeau-Outdoors-300-Tuff-Box/dp/B01CQINZGE/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Flambeau+Outdoors+302HD+HD+Tuff+Box+300&qid=1705769968&sr=8-1
@@WillowWalksTheAT you are cool as ✌🏽 thanks I will give it a try, the original hover case they offer is £35 over here but doesn’t look like it will protect it from a fall
@gymreaper No worries! Hoping it's the same case. We've banged that case around and had it in rain and it protected the X1 well. The long edges fit perfect but there is about a 1 cm gap between the lid and X1 when closed. We put some foam tape on the inside of the lid to gently keep the X1 from rattling around (The tape is visible in the video)
I keep 2 extra batteries in a separate but easily accessible dual pocket battery bag (1:22) and not in the hard case. 2 reasons...1st is the X1 gimble is so delicate, I didn't want anything else rattling around in the case, and 2nd is the dual pockets make it easy to keep track of new vs used batteries. This technique just works for us...
NICE! Just ordered it! Might I add that your music selection is epic!
I can confirm... it's the perfect size and shape. works great!
What size you bought? Cus the one on the web are different from the one he show@LousyFIBs
@@darv1932 - I just measured it. The 5.23 inch internal is the correct measurement

Thank you for your reply. @@WillowWalksTheAT
The measurements on the web site were internal. I measured the Hover and it should fit in the internal 5.23" version.
Very nice thank you

Where do the extra batteries go?
