- India's only automatic CNG sedan has surprised me a lot, for the good. Had the car for a day and it surpassed (almost) all my expectations. Yes, the combination doesn't work wonders for performance but an average CNG buyer doesn't care. He wants efficiency and now has boot space plus the convenience of an automatic.

no hill hold and i found it a big minus point.
Forget about the "aam junta" Bunny...Their habit is to have comments for anything under the sun..A very nicely put together video of a wonderful product from TATA Motors. Kudos to TML for this offering..especially for Delhi-NCR and the dreaded November-December months...We can have odd-even, GRAP 3/4 restrictions....This is one compact sedan that will shine on all 365 days, given the fact that it runs on "clean" fuel. Yes, tanking up with crowded with taxis CNG stations will remain a chore, but worth it, if one's running is high. The aam junta also negates the 4* star GNCAP rating of the twins, which neither Hyundai nor Maruti or Honda provides. I'm also game for the 14 inch tyres and longer sidewalls, gives a better ride and is resistant to cuts and damages than a narrow side wall tyre. What about the spare wheel ? is it 14 inch or smaller ? Acceleration figures are great, more than sufficient for a family car. Great coverage, Bunny !

Hey Bunny, how do you think cng will perform on proper hills like Manali/Shimla. I'd like you to test out such a cng amt on such hill station. If cng availability is an issue please fill up cng full from Delhi and drive till foot hill in petrol and then switch to cng.
This will actually answer cng performance deficit questions.

Do you really think that a car which goes 170 kmph in cng mode can face such issues in hilly areas??

@@moderatorofbtu2570 An old 1980s Jeep that hardly does 70kmph top speed will easily outperform any modern day hatchback/sedan on a high gradient road even in 2 wheel drive mode. Heck even the Mahindra 2WD pick up trucks can be seen flying on hill stations. Point is not top speed or on paper figures, actual hill performance is totally different.
Your question speaks about your lack of knowledge about what I meant or probably you have never had driven in such terrain to see and experience.
In hills you can always use AMT in Manual mode. In this case you can do the shifting and control car as you deem fit.

But manual only not AMT, i trst drove it yesterday surprised the way pickup, A/c performed, seating comfort, and icing on the top was the Harman music system.
Compared to other systems provided by manyfacturers Tata done a decent job

Bhai Mera budget 11 lakh onroad price tak hai ..mai confused hu which car to buy ? Mai jyada tar 1000 km ek month me chala sakunga ?? Muze jara suggest kariye
bhai mey sales ki job mey hu... meri first car hai ye.. aura sx maine 9.60 onroad sx cng liya .. wo mujhe mileage comfort look and no nonsense car hai... aur hyndai is best for engine - fit and finsh also

I shouldn’t comment as I don’t own any car but still just to know what’s a word in market is Tata gives you good safety good features and good budget friendly car but service is not good and upto the mark …..at least that’s what I have been coming across….. no offence …. again it’s not my experience but just a word of mouth…..

Pathetic car , did test drive....3cyl is worst it vibrates horrible when AC is on....
What should be improved:
1.auto sense rain wipers instead of auto hill hold
2. No driver side armrest instead they provided rear passenger arm rest as it is chauffer driven 😅
3. Worst 3cyl engine instead of 4cyl....even maruti eco, Hyundai aura, Honda Amaze is giving 4cyl engines
4. 8speakers for such small cars comeon tata instead of 8 give 4speakers and give other essential features at the cost of other 4speakers like auto dim irvm, cooled glove box
5. 14inch tyres better give 15inch for more grip and stability also increase ground clearance
6. Increase wheel base as 6feet person cant drive car as their leg hurts for even short drives also thigh support is poor
7. Provide sound absorbent sheets to avoid NVH
What i like is:
1. Auto headlamps feature is must
2. CNG AMT is good
3. Boot space is decent
4. Steering is good
Tata = waste of money
