The only anime film I've watched multiple times and it gets me teary eyed every time. Gintama is probably the most overlooked shonen series when it comes to western audiences. Masterpiece of a film, and a very good amv doing it justice.
Yeah, most people can't get through the 30-ish challenge of Gintama. I don't remember what hooked me back then, but, I really am glad I got to find this masterpiece really

What i love about gintama is how perfectly they execute openings/endings. Like they match up the lyrics/music with the actual scenes and plot and i love it...no one else rly does that or those little summary bits at the end of each arc
Gintama is quite honestly Great. It's Humor surpasses that of many anime but it can also make you start crying for a few seconds in only 1 or 2 episodes time. The stories, they might be funny as hell at the begining but in the end of most of them it still makes you shed a tear it keeps happening but you expect it not to... yet it did.. This is why gintama is so amazing.

I was already in tears when Yorozuya and Shinsengumi run together, fighting in duos (we had bros in law, okikagu and Gintoki with Hijikata) but man, when Shinsengumi made a boost throw for the Yorozuya - proud to say I was weeping like a baby😭❤️
Gintama is the only anime where all of it's films are considered as top tier and none of them are shameless cash grabs. So happy that it's the home of Gundam that took in Gintama.

As far as I know, this is the only anime that could make me cried soo much but suddenly laughing less than a minute after that. I remember crying very hard when Gintoki sacrificed himself and trying to kill his past self while Kagura and Shinpachi cry in the background, I suddenly forget that Gintama often pull that kind of prank and just laughing wryly when it is revealed that his friends goes back in time. I am rewatching Gintama because I haven't watched the final movie.

Man, I just re-watched this movie around 20 mins ago, I had real goosebumps after some 5-6 monthls
This was super well done. I especially liked showing them take Otae's hands during the "Bring Me Down"s, chilling if you've seen the movie
after rewatching 5 time, shinpachi glasses disapearing caught me off guard everytime

I remember crying very hard when Gintoki sacrificed himself and trying to kill his past self while Kagura and Shinpachi cry in the background, I suddenly forget that Gintama often pull that kind of prank and just laughing wryly when it is revealed that his friends goes back in time.
I am rewatching Gintama because I haven't watched the final movie.
I forget that it's a parody.. Cuz the level of chills, emotions this anime gives is beyond anything.
Listening to it now aches my heart since gintama is nearing its end😥😪
