Just to clarify, the robotic hand that killed catnap is the prototype, the same hand that grabbed mommy’s dead body, im assuming he’s grabbing them to make them more deadlier, as what happened with Huggy wuggy he was also meant to be the original huggy wuggy, but was way to smart and dangerous, so they made another, who is a lot dumber, to make him less dangerous, im assuming that the monster that attacked kissy missy is the prototype, or maybe another monster.

Something I noticed is that DogDay has a belt around his waist just above where his legs were, so im guessing someone tried to save him after his legs were eaten off most likely one of his friends but CatNap still keep DogDay here and tortured him and his friends as he saw them as non-believers, but sadly his friends were all murdered by CatNap and those smiling critter dolls. It’s really sad but also interesting to see these small details in the game, not only was DogDay tortured for who knows how long, but also got his legs eaten off by those dolls and had to witness his friends die from CatNap and those dolls.
“The Hour of Joy” was a red tape that showed everyone still in the factory being murdered by the toys. Huggy, then Mommy, Smiling Critter dolls, Ms.Delight and her sisters, Kissy, CatNap, and the Prototype… after they murdered everyone, they dragged the bodies and ate them

Poppy play time lore = elliot ludwig established this factory for kids he had an adopted child which died unfortunately so he took his brain out and placed it into a toy and made that toy alive which is poppy and caged poppy in a safe place ( we free her in the chapter one ) inspired from this employees of that factory started experimenting on making toys alive they killed orphan children's cause no one is gonna bother to find them if they go missing they took those children's brain out and placed them inside toys like huggy catnap and mommy and they also performed an experiment on the owner ludwig and transformed him into prototype .. catnap actually worship him cause when he was a child prototype aka Ludwig helped him from getting killed ... We are also a coworker who used to work here and perform experiment on childrens hence catnap hallucination showed " guilt haunts you " oneday all of the workers went missing actually they were killed my the toys and prototype as a revenge which we can see in the vhs the hour of joy we actually came back to this factor 10 years later to find out what happened to those co workers because we got a letter from that factory which was sent by poppy in order for him to free her cause she knew that he is the only co worker who was absent on the day when hour of joy event took place
