I've been watching these arguments for many years. I've found there are 3 types of folks when it comes to the KJV; Those who love it for the archaic language and its beauty, those who are KJV only for themselves but don't disparage those modern versions that are accurate, especially with the discoveries of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the like, and the Fanatics. The first 2 I can deal with, the 3rd type, I pity and avoid. Fanatics cannot be dealt with because they are immune to anything but their own opinion. They will flat-out lie to preserve what they believe. As to Dr. White, I've listened and read much of what he's written and have learned much. Teachers like him, RC Sproul, and others have lead me to read more and more of my Bible and I am very grateful. What I also notice is that many have a great dislike of Calvinism. I can't comment on that as I haven't read Calvin yet. Lastly, we are in very sad times when you can't disagree with people without being called a 'hater'. That is a sad statement on where we are, and why this Nation is doomed. After all, if you accuse someone of hate, then you don't have to use reason anymore, right?
It's very clear in God's word that Jesus died for the sins of ALL THE WORLD. many get confused by predestination. We try to look at it from a human standpoint. Some understand God knows everything from the beginning to the end of all things which will never end. When you read the book of Revelation and you read about the new heaven and new earth, God already knows the thoughts of every person there a billion years from now.
The KjV is perfect. I generally read on Bible hub. If you go there there they evidently every version there is in English. When I read certain things in KjV, I'll also check out NLB and the American standard ,the berean etc. There's just something about the KJV that makes it easier to remember. The only thing we know of God is what is written in his word. We say we have faith. What does that mean? That means we have faith in his word, which is actually God himself, it's a written picture/description of him. Some go looking elsewhere for him and what happens when you do that you will not find God you will find the devil. The devil loves for people to get their eyes of Jesus which he is the living word of God
I have a question regarding John 7; v8, in the NASB it says Go up to the feast yourselves, I do not go up to this feast because my time has not yet fully come. The KJV says My time has not yet come. Correct me if I am wrong but it appears that the NASB is calling Jesus a lier? Please help me with this, thankyou Dr. White.

Yep, all modern Bibles make Jesus a sinner three times over. One here in John 7. Then, in Matthew 5:22 where they remove "without a cause", making everyone who is angry with his brother a sinner (wasn't Jesus pretty angry when he overthrew the tables in the temple?) Lastly, changing "her purification" to "their purification" in Luke 2:22, putting the baby Jesus under ceremonial uncleanness, when the Mosaic law indicates no such thing.

Remember, the KJV is not the first bible English translated from the TR. In fact, the transcripts used in the TR were used for bibles that date as far back as 100 - 150 AD. Ask yourself why so much hate? Plus it is documented in facts and James White is not being truthful in his presentation, The pilgrims came over, and they had 5 Geneva bibles and 2 King James Bibles. No long after they were here, the Geneva bible started dying out in favor of the more readable KJV. This is basic documented facts. Now, what ever bible you want to read, read it. Paul warns about such arguments in it. I mainly read from and study from the KJV, NKJV, NASB95. I enjoy the NLT as a storybook type of reading. So, get your favorite version and read it. In my opinion, James White has did much damage to the Christian faith with his personal battle over the KJV and the TR.

Jesus, being God in the flesh, would be able to speak all languages i would assume. The holy spirit gave the apostles the ability to speak to people in their native tongues, I don't see why Jesus wouldn't have been able to, Jesus probably spoke up to at least four languages. And what does that even matter anyway? If his words are accurately translated, as they have been, it doesn't matter what languages we're spoken.

I'm a King James... Only for me.😁 I have friends Brothers and sisters in Christ that use other translations. And I like James White though I don't agree with all his conclusions about the KJV.

Hello friend, I'm NOT a calvinist!! To my understanding the chief translator of the KJV was a calvinist (he's name eludes me). BUT I would not reject the KJV Bible. God's hand and Grace was on the translation. Modern translations under the UBS & catholic/protestant denominations are to be weary of. I believe Rome has infiltrated UBS and Bible translations years ago. Especially with the joint inter-denominetional text etc. The KJV does not lean towards calvinism. I believe God answered the prayer of William Tyndale as he was burning on the stake ..."Lord, open the King of England’s eyes!" Praise the Lord that was what happen with the KJV under the order of King James!

I compared Gail’s claims about the other translations side by side with the KJV, and found her claims to be false because of taking verses out of context of the full passages. Most times that she claimed that the NIV94 had dropped a reference to the Lord was simply a case of using a different word order. It was right there nearby.
Without changing at least 15%, from all other bibles,they can't get paid.seriously...all the Major doctrines are in all the formal equivalency translations...the differences between these and dynamic equivalence bible translations are more pronounced...

It doesn't matter what translation you use when you know who YAHWEH is and who the real descendants of Jacob who was renamed Israel are.
The KjB was written by those in reformed theology and changed words to accommodate there paradigm.

i just listened to White's 5 minute opening in the radio debate he had with Riplinger. It was laced with ad-homonym personal attacks.
