I mean if you have a monitor that can show you 540fps and feel the smoothness of it ofc you will be crying if it goes less than that xd (and probably you will notice it).
I thought my 240 hz monitor was the "end game" when I got it a couple years ago xD. Didn't know my brain was capable of processing more frames..
Its not about processing frames, its just smoother and has less lag

I experience stuttering in cs2 with ryzen 7700x and rtx 3080ti I have 480 fps average, tried everything even did full format pc with fresh install cs and still didn’t worked. I hate cs2 state rn. Need a break for some time till they fix this
Maybe limit your framerate to your monitor refresh rate? But yea CS2 optimization is trash, my frames drop a lot when people start throwing a lot of mollys and smokes

@@reallybro00 no programs running other than cs, optimized my windows settings, Overclocked and undervolted cpu to 5.5 ghz. Undervolted gpu to 900mv 1920mhz core. Everything running stable expect fucking cs2 which makes me crazy

In November 2021, I purchased a 390Hz Acer Nitro XV252QF, shame I couldn't experience it from the get go, as my PC didn't perform well enough at the start, but I'm not sure this monitor made me play like a cheater, but who knows, I might just haven't noticed it myself, but maybe my enemies did
Upgrade to any of the newer zowie monitors - 360 or 540 Hz and the difference is night and day (with DyAc enabled) vs 390 Hz (with motion blur reduction enabled)

i play 4k 120fps TV and i hit nova for the first time it is easier to hit but still, i used to play 240 hz, its not gonna change ur skill level but definitely harder on a bigger screen + less fps but graphics are better so I wouldnt switch off

I have a 240hz monitor but now in cs2 i rarely go above 240 fps my average is 200-210 and when i fight it goes down i gotta upgrade

Bro, right now it’s 360 hertz in all normal CS 2 tournaments, even pro players now play at 360 hertz.
fps goes down with tab because of the blurring effects in it. cs poorly optimized it.

Dude the 700 fps is not because of the 4090 its because the new cpu he got, cs is cpu intensive game not a gpu.

How does he get that much fps? I play with a xl2566k, 4090 and i9 14900k. Also with 1280x960 and I get around 360fps, most settings on low.

I get 707avg on the benchmark map and i have a 14600k and rtx 4070ti. Whats your ram? I feel like that might be your issue. Running anything below 7200 should be a crime

I was feeling the same you know? But then I realized that if you don't mind spending the money for 540hz, then get it and run games like valo, overwatch 2, R6 siege at 540hz, Cs2 at 360hz and rest at 240 Hz - all with DyAc enabled.
Also I think that the 540hz TN isn't as bad as your old 240hz. You can actually use it for gaming in terms of color accuracy

I don't think any cpu can hit high fps in CS2 like it did in CSGO... Not sure about the newer 9000 series AMD tho (I doubt even that hits consistent high fps)
