    Late stage testicular cancer survivor here. Was declared to be in remission back in May 2008. Had my right testicle removed, did 4 rounds of BEP chemo (total 12 weeks starting June 18, 2007) and an RPLND done in December 2007. One thing that gets under my skin is, sure everyone so enthusiastic to bring awareness to say breast cancer, during October (breast cancer awareness month), but hardly anyone knows/talks about April being testicular cancer awareness month. Guess society has taught folks that it's ok to talk about breasts, but not testicles (cause it might be too dirty/perverse to talk about?)😡😡

      Its ok to talk about breasts and transgener shenanigans all day but your right, men and testicles are down right a no no in society. Like as if men are filthy perverts lol . I found a lump maybe two month ago hoping it would go away. Today I finally sheduled to be checked out here in a week. Hope for the best, preparing for the worst. Wish there was more documentatiion and info on this topic.

    Felt a lump and groin pain. Urologist felt nothing and ultrasound came back completely negative. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.

    Why aren’t people talking about this type of cancer more? We had never heard about it until my son a young African American noticed a lump in his left testicle. He is an exceptional young man who thrives to eat and live right by all of God’s standards. His diet is very healthy and he doesn’t drink, smoke or live frivolously . Now he is facing surgery to find out if it is cancer. So much of this could be prevented if this cancer receives half the attention as breast cancer. We rebuke you cancer and no matter what the doctors think. Our child is already healed in Yesusha name! Lord please grant us mercy and favor 🙏🙏🙏

      @@yemanehadushWell, if it’s torsion and you don’t go to the ER, you won’t have to worry if it was cancer because your testicle will just die in a matter of hours because the blood supply has been cut off.

    Hey guys need some advice and words, I’m 17 I have noticed a small lump in my right testicle for several years but ignored it/was scared and ignorant. It’s a little longer but less wide than something like a pea. Recently I’ve noticed a bit of a dull ache in that testicle and the lower groin and stomach around it, ima have to get the courage to check it out. Anyone else went through something similar to this please share how it went???? Thanks.

      Please please please don't delay getting checked. My friend left his for a year at the age of 20 and by the time he got sick and told the doctors he had a lump, they put him under aggressive chemo treatment and he died a week later as it had gone to his brain. Don't risk it

    Is testicular Cancer common?

    • @MetalManiac1911
      @MetalManiac1911 11 месяцев назад +4

      No. It’s very uncommon beside all other cancers, but it’s the leading cancer in men ages 15-35. Somewhere between 8,000 and 10,000 men a year will get it. I had it twice.
