- Learn a very simple and easy expression in English: ‘-ish’. In conversation, we often add ‘-ish’ to the end of a word to change its meaning. What is the difference between green and greenish? What colour is my hair? Is it brown or is it reddish, blondish, or brownish? I’ll also teach you some other ways in which the suffix ‘-ish’ appears in English. Take the quiz on this lesson here: www.engvid.com/learn-english-...

I love Canada and I love your lessons. Thank you so much. You're my favorite teacher!
As usually an amazing lesson from our favourite teacher 👏👏 We all hope to speak English better than it is possible but for now we speak like a beginer-ish speaker !!!!
Is it correct to add the suffix-ish at the end of a noun? Beginer is not an adjective ; confirm it with Ms Amma , pls.
Oh my gosh!!! I'm so surprised that you taught us this great and amazing lesson my amazing teacher I'll give you all of My money 😊💰💰💰
Very useful video ,i am from India,i love your English lectures
Ma'am Emma, I'm so glad you're back. It's been a long time that I have'nt seen you at You tube. I love your teaching.
This video was awesome! I'm so glad to see you making videos again. I'm a native speaker, but this still helped me. I'm 41 years old and seldom have used the 'ish' in casual conversation. All of a sudden I hear all of these young people using the 'ish' in casual conversation all of the time. You explained what this is and if it's being used properly. Obviously, I knew words like childish or sheepish were correct, but I wasn't sure about it being used to add to other words so casually.
I like Emma’s learning video.
I like your videos find them bit informative as I suggest you that please make more videos on phrasal verbs, idioms, and slangs too cause these things make us like a native speaker
There's plenty of that in here, you just need to search a little bit more. But she has already done a ton of those 😁
