To answer your almost-asked question: Megalodon most likely would have lived in warm, tropical, shallow waters, rich in food, much like Great Whites. While a Megalodon could likely handle deeper, colder waters well due to some of the aspects of deep-sea gigantism, its dietary needs would likely be so vast that it would need to live in waters with much more prey.
And even at that it still didn't get enough food and was out hunted by the likes of whites which is why they are still here and the Meg isn't 😂 I've had full on arguments with people about why it doesn't live in the deep ocean like the trench 🤦♂️
Yeah, one of the saddest scenes in Titanic was when it was showing the people who were trapped and couldn't get out lying in their beds like the old couple and the mother telling her children one last story so they would fall asleep but knowing that in mere minutes, they'd be submerged in their cold, dark tomb.
Yes, both of those quick scenes absolutely kill me. Also the one where the life boat comes back searching for anyone alive, and they find the mother holding her baby frozen to death in the water.
What's sad is that the couple on the bed are based on the original owners of Macy's, where the wife had a chance to get on the lifeboat, but refused to since the husband had to stay until after all women and children. They also gave him a chance to go with his wife, but he refused to go before all the other men. So they stayed on the Titanic, and they allowed their maid to take the wife's spot. Granted they weren't on a bed when they died, but they did stay together, holding each other, while on the deck.
@@tsnoob4669 In the musical Titanic, theres a short scene where they sit on the deck and they tell the waiter thanks and then sing a song and they sing with the vibe full of their love and how their time has passed and now the young will take their place on the lifeboats, but also towards the future.

Which is still pretty small in comparison to a blue whale of course but it's always depicted as this 100/200ft monster that tries to attack and kill everything in sight 😂
In regards to how disrespectful this may or may not be, as a friend of mine put it "my level of sympathy correlates to a person's tax bracket, the higher the bracket the less I give a f*ck".
Titanic fact: Charles John Joughin was a British-American Chef aboard the Titanic who is thought to have been the man who spent the longest amount of time in the water and survive. He survived over 2 hours treading freezing cold water before he was pulled from the waters. How did he survive? When he knew the ship was doomed, he went back to his cabin and "had a drop of liqueur" (a tumbler half-full of liqueur, as he went on to specify). It is believed that he was so drunk that he didn't realize or care how cold the water was, which ultimately saved his life. He is also thought to have been the last survivor to leave the Titanic as he rode it all the way down.

I love the concept of exploring the ocean floor in a video game. Mostly because I would never have the courage to do it in real life. It's a shame that there aren't more games with that mechanic. That might explain why I liked Subnautica so much. I don't know how I feel about this game though. It's definitely strange, if not poor.
the fact they have the sub from the cover-up story is a really nice detail considering thats about the accurate distance (in scale) of the real wrecks from each other.
I now believe IGP is secretly the front man for a death metal band and will never admit whether he is or not and No one can convince me otherwise. Killer vocals dude!!! Wanna learn myself.
I think experiencing real life tragedies are the scariest games ever. I can't play war games, something about it is truly horrifying. Even small sections in games scare me to death when I was previously laughing at the ridiculousness of the jump scares of the previous section. It's just darn right horrible, hearing the screams and wails in the distance and having the crawl through the muck. Those parts truly scare me not the guy running around with the knife. Just the thought of the titanic sinking and experiencing what they did is a nightmare. Being apart of that nightmare is the scariest thing ever.
I remember watching the titanic for the first time and the part with the couple laying in bed as the room filled with water broke me it made me feel awful after
12 minutes in, they're apparently at 5000 feet, finding dozens of wrecks...amongst which there's seaweed and kelp growing. Photosynthetic marine vegetation...in the midnight zone. Gloriously stupid even before a really big shark shows up.
Time for some deep sea terror!! I'm already terrified and fascinated by sharks, and the Titanic is just awesome, so this game should be fun. Can't wait for IGP's screams of terror. They give me life lol
I was NOT expecting Grindcore at the beginning, and IGP going full Grindcore pig squealing, as a metal head, I was not expecting that and it was AMAZING
Funfact about "Disrespect and movies" The first Titanic movie came out on May 14. 1912. Roughly one month after the sinking. Main Actress was Dorothy Gibson. She was a survivor and was in the first liveboat. She even wore the same dress during filming she had on that night.
It’s so funny because in school I used to sit and think what if a sea creature or giant shark was responsible for the titanic sinking and I always thought I was crazy for thinking it and now I’ve seen it as a game and makes me feel more rationalized, overall though I love this premise and love the gameplay and commentary. Love you IGP you the best!
Good call-out to the WWII sub, as that was actually James Cameron’s original mission! He was contacted by a government organisation to find a sucken nuclear sub that got lost in the War, and when he couldn’t find that one, he then went on a another search and accidentally found the Titanic!
I think you mean Bob Ballard, not James Cameron. And it wasn't found by accident. Ballard had long wanted to find the Titanic, but couldn't get funding. A deal was struck with the US Navy, that they would fund his equipment, he would work on targets they wanted, but he would get to use it for his own searches between jobs. on one expedition he was tasked with surveying the USS Thresher and USS Scorpion, they were lost not in war time but due to accidents. Studying these wreaks gave new insights in to how sinking ship behave, and form debris fields. After completing a survey on the USS Scorpion Ballard had 12 days from that years expedition left to find the wreck. focusing on finding the debris field and using it to point to the wreck gave his team a larger target to look for. Using the knowledge gained from the Thresher/Scorpion missions they were able to follow the debris field finding first one of the boilers, and then finding the rest of the wreck the next day.
I'd just like to add to Blackmark's comment by pointing out that neither the Scorpion nor the Thresher (the two US nuclear subs that had sunk in the Atlantic) are WW2 era subs, both of those submarines were built and commission way after WW2 ended, with both submarines built in 1958 and commissioned into the navy in 1960 and 1961 respectively. As an additional note, the easiest way to tell in what era a submarine was made (in the US at least) is to look at it's hull, WW2 and shortly after the war the submarine's hulls were far more like a boat in how they looked, but cold war submarines and nuclear submarines were built with teardrop hulls (the type of hull you see on modern submarines)

As cool as this game looks like, the unfortunate reality is that it violates the copyright of the jaws theme, which universal will undoubtedly go to court about.
To answer your question about the music during the climax: The JAWS theme is specifically from the 2005 game where you play as the shark. And the bombastically tense music is from the track “blown to bits” from the movie’s original soundtrack, so yes it is very much copyrighted.
Have you seen the photos of the titanic beside a modern day cruise ship!? It's insane knowing titanic was "the biggest ship ever" back then...not anymore!! Lol cool stuff.
I agree with your statement on the titanic movie, feels so odd to take a tragedy and make it into a love story, just like Pearl Harbor. Imagine a love triangle movie set during 9/11.

The controversy isn't about the Titanic itself. It's about a few rich morons who just took an expedition to go see the Titanic, and it went completely tits up because their sub imploded.
It's interesting for me seeing this now, because wednesday me and the fiancé went to visit the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, TN. Highly recommend to any near there to check it out. It's worth the walk through and you learn and see a lot more then you could online, at least thats how it felt to me. PS Intro is 11/10
Because of the salt levels, pressure and darkness; you can hardly see anything at those levels in a sub. You would have to get extremely close to the object to see it if you go to that dept. In fact, you would not see that great, like in the game. Oh, I saw a pictue of a Humpback Whale think it was eating some fish, but ended up opening its mouth on 2 kayakers. It spit them out of course. "Kayakers nearly swallowed by humpback whale in California."
12:12 Looks more like either a slightly shortened Virginia class, or a seawolf class submarine. WW2 era subs had 2 propellers, no propeller shrouds, and had flat horizontal decks and looked more like ships.
You know, I actually saw a documentary where survivors of shipwrecks are talking about sharks that would pick them off one by one. The oceanic white tip. Back then there used to be a lot more of them. They would basically gather within 5 minutes and would test if humans would get tired before picking them off one by one. When they went into the water with these sharks they could lure them in easily by just having a raft hit the water. They would circle for hours. USS Indianapolis in 1945 is believed to have over 150 people picked off by sharks while they waited for rescue. Now they don't go as far north as the titanic was. But oceanic white tip are extremely agressive to humans. (Or basically anything eatable).... thought I would just share a fun fact.
The plot of this game is like a child heard about the Titanic and the Megalodon but didn't know enough about the ocean/ancient marine biology so they just made things up to make their story interesting.

Same
Same;)
I love the concept of exploring the ocean floor in a video game. Mostly because I would never have the courage to do it in real life. It's a shame that there aren't more games with that mechanic. That might explain why I liked Subnautica so much. I don't know how I feel about this game though. It's definitely strange, if not poor.
My day gets 10 times better seeing IGP upload a new video
the fact they have the sub from the cover-up story is a really nice detail considering thats about the accurate distance (in scale) of the real wrecks from each other.
IGP throwing shots at ocean gate made my day better
This was a perfect addition to current events! Thank you for playing
I now believe IGP is secretly the front man for a death metal band and will never admit whether he is or not and No one can convince me otherwise. Killer vocals dude!!! Wanna learn myself.
You should apply to be the narrative voice for this game, as you are good at narrating other games backstory
another great video. 2:28 made me love IGP even more lol \m/
Man this games opening is just amazing , bigass shark eating the Titanic victims and then *boom* Text to Speech intro.
FUCKING DEATHMETAL TUTORIAL WHAT!!!!??
Hopefully it's not made out of carbon fiber had me dying
I think experiencing real life tragedies are the scariest games ever. I can't play war games, something about it is truly horrifying. Even small sections in games scare me to death when I was previously laughing at the ridiculousness of the jump scares of the previous section. It's just darn right horrible, hearing the screams and wails in the distance and having the crawl through the muck. Those parts truly scare me not the guy running around with the knife. Just the thought of the titanic sinking and experiencing what they did is a nightmare. Being apart of that nightmare is the scariest thing ever.
Watch husk on hell let loose...you'll love it.
I remember watching the titanic for the first time and the part with the couple laying in bed as the room filled with water broke me it made me feel awful after
Not the fact they locked the poor Irish to die down below?
12 minutes in, they're apparently at 5000 feet, finding dozens of wrecks...amongst which there's seaweed and kelp growing. Photosynthetic marine vegetation...in the midnight zone.
Gloriously stupid even before a really big shark shows up.
The cartoon sounds of Oceangate crashing is fucking delightful.
Time for some deep sea terror!!
I'm already terrified and fascinated by sharks, and the Titanic is just awesome, so this game should be fun. Can't wait for IGP's screams of terror. They give me life lol
The greatest depth a Megalodons tooth was ever found was at 3,089 Meters for references Great white shark can can only go about 1,200 Meters
I was NOT expecting Grindcore at the beginning, and IGP going full Grindcore pig squealing, as a metal head, I was not expecting that and it was AMAZING
I quote Markiplier "FUCK THE OCEAN!"
If you cant see the bottom, something can see you from it.
Funfact about "Disrespect and movies"
The first Titanic movie came out on May 14. 1912. Roughly one month after the sinking.
Main Actress was Dorothy Gibson. She was a survivor and was in the first liveboat.
She even wore the same dress during filming she had on that night.
Instead of getting scared, the ai voice just cracks me up😂😂😂
It’s so funny because in school I used to sit and think what if a sea creature or giant shark was responsible for the titanic sinking and I always thought I was crazy for thinking it and now I’ve seen it as a game and makes me feel more rationalized, overall though I love this premise and love the gameplay and commentary.

The fact tht they added the WW2 submarine from the meg movie in the game too shows how much effort these guys put in the game
A timing as perfect as this has never been seen before
Me reading “Titanic” from a video title from 1 hour ago after the Titan incident. Then watching further into the video where they have to explore the wreck of the Titanic
Damn I had no idea Indie could do a fucking false chord. Like that was actually a really good false chord. Straight up rivalling cannibal corpse with that one
fr, that was fucking rad as hell
To add to the Meg thing, they were shallow water sharks and were way too big, and there isn’t too much food down that far
Props to the cable for being hundreds of miles long
*a few kilometers.
The bigger problem is getting it back up
6:17 those smoke particles are amazing.. and the human animations are also great.. i wonder if this game should be shown to Corridor Crew as some of the best cgi ever made?
As cool as this game looks like, the unfortunate reality is that it violates the copyright of the jaws theme, which universal will undoubtedly go to court about.
I mean its fine because those people who went in the sub on their discount controller wanted the titanic experience and GOT IT💀
Second I heard you say what you did at the start i was so relieved i was like mans is gonna get pummeled
What a hull crushing time to upload this gameplay
Hope it wasn't 1.5 miles down and had 90 hours of oxygen and was a small sub
To answer your question about the music during the climax:
The JAWS theme is specifically from the 2005 game where you play as the shark.
And the bombastically tense music is from the track “blown to bits” from the movie’s original soundtrack, so yes it is very much copyrighted.
I like that there is a thing for people who didn't know what the Titanic was
Titanic: 2
Rich People: 0
Jesus that growl was amazing
Cool story! As a kid i used to think something like this actually happened before i learned what happened
Igps reactions to the shark is better than the voice actors
I like it when you find weird games like this. We’re just here for your commentary anyway 😊
Your vocals are sick bro!!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I met a beluga with a river kayak in a fjord. I swear to god, something as big as a mini bus passing under your kayak is terrifying :D even worst when he put his head out for a little Bonjour eheh :) best day of my life
Another great video from the man, the myth, the legend, IGP! Keep on keeping on brother!
worker: too soon?
boss: nah release that shyt
Just from the thumbnail I know this going to be awesome
2:39 Goddamn that's a really good growl, hands down.
0:44 No, that aintcha boi
@IGP when watching the Titanic I cry when the Musicians decide to stay and laugh when Rose says “I’ll never let go, Jack” then pries his cold dead hands off of her.
we love you igp, thank you for everything you do :)
Woah! Thanks for the tip and kind words!! Very much appreciated:)
IGP with that nasty low at 2:29. You have a future in death metal if RUclips doesn't work out.
HEADBANGING WITH IGP
I love there is a "context" banner about the titanic attached to this video. 😂😂
Excellent timing, though, from a dark humor point of view
Love that youtube was like "right we gotta give context" and im thinking... Who doesnt know of the titanic... and i realized something... Its the internet no one beleives in space or round chungus earth... sooo fair enough...
It's been over 100 years. It's fair game
The controversy isn't about the Titanic itself. It's about a few rich morons who just took an expedition to go see the Titanic, and it went completely tits up because their sub imploded.
I don't know about others but I NEED you to make more episodes about "Voices of the void", that game that is Signal symulator v 2
It's interesting for me seeing this now, because wednesday me and the fiancé went to visit the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, TN. Highly recommend to any near there to check it out. It's worth the walk through and you learn and see a lot more then you could online, at least thats how it felt to me.
PS Intro is 11/10
Interesting fact about the Titanic, a gold necklace with a megalodon tooth was found in the wreckage in a digital scan of the sight.
2:28 OMFG THAT INTRO THO! I HEARD THE CHUGGING AND THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY AND THEN... BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The plot of this game is like a child heard about the Titanic and the Megalodon but didn't know enough about the ocean/ancient marine biology so they just made things up to make their story interesting.
Damn the timing with this one was perfect… anyways the game was awesome and I’m glad you decided to upload it and not scrap it because a couple of not so smart people
At least your controller is workin‘ tho
Yeah because I don't use Logitech.
Titanic went down on a new moon so it was dark as hell. Only the stars were out.
*In dead tone voice* Ah, that scared me.🤣🤣🤣
Indie you cheeky goose look at that timing
Very smart indeed
should have figured all those titanic horror games are gonna come out of the wood works
