Laurana's architectural choices confer a sensation of supreme serenity with the spirit of the genius of Piero della Francesca. It emerges from the whole Palazzo Ducale so great refinement and distinction. I appreciate so much that the philosophy who influences this extraordinary piece of architecture seems to come from the Sprezzatura, so promoted by Baldassare Castiglione, (a friend of Raffaello) ; this incredible ability to give an appearance of ease and naturalness to the most difficult achievements !
