Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Terrible migraines prevent me from being able to read blogs (or much else) so having the info available on video is a great service and MUCH appreciated. :)

Love that you are doing videos now, Caroline! Watching your pixiwoo video over a year ago now has really helped me step up me game (or at the very least, taught me that I NEED to double cleanse!!) and I think you are fantastic. Your no BS approach is a godsend. Keep up the good work!
Also, I know it's a hobby/part-time job but I think lots of us would love to see routine videos with products for different skin types (too much of an ask? Sorry!)
    Again, love your work!

Don't apologise for the "Maybe you could google it" we're on the internet watching your videos, not in your clinic. It's totally reasonable to not know exactly or name a stockist for each country! Sure you link to the products website & I think it's up to the products manufacturers to have comprehensive stockist information on their sites.
Thank you for all of the helpful information. I'm learning so much and appreciate your videos.

The fact she didn't mention about PC products can only mean PC acids are not good enough?

    • @lorellefont4239
      @lorellefont4239 10 лет назад +10

Relax. There are also probably a thousand other products she hasn't mentioned in this ONE video. If that's all the information you need, well... that's unfortunate for you. BTW... she has recommended Paula's Choice Products on her blog. And if you work for Paula's Choice, that also speaks volumes.

I use these kind of acids but in a gel form, so it won't be considered a toner, but I really like it for my acne marks and hyperpigmentation so I though that I could share. It's the Neostrata Gel Forte, with Glycolic in a 15% and Salicilic in a 2%. It's very common in Spain, but I don't know about de UK.

What is the name of the acid Clarins toner? I would like to try that one in next rotation. I just got off Serious Skin Care glycolic/lactic pads,(very good HUGE and soaked in product, I cut mine in half lasted a year), now I've been using the PTR un-wrinkle peel pads,(he has two kinds 1 for more acne/oily/problem skin-makes my dry skin-drier), and I absolutely love them. I cut them in half also and they are so juicy I can get a double swim/scrub on my face/decolatte,(hs? sounds like very uber fancy coffee the way I have it spelled), then I go over my hands/finger/wrists and then I finish off the bottom of my feet w/them to keep old hospital feet callouses soft and a bit refined.

Hi Caroline, I have been reading your blog all day trying to find something that could help me. For the last few weeks I have had awful cystic breakouts all around my chin. It was recommended for me to use Dermalogica special clearing booster that has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide and this product has just been drying out the skin around the breakouts. They are still very sore and inflamed, with new spots developing. Can you recommend something that could help me with these breakouts?

Hi Caroline you had mentioned that we could get the P50 1970 in the states - but I noticed the link provided did not have the 1970 option. I tried googling but couldn't find it, do you know where we could purchase it in the states? I'd love to get it for my mother. Also knowing that you love Pixi skin treats glow tonic, how do you feel about the Pixi skin treats serum? Thanks for the tip with the PTR pads, I purchased them and then - I wondered how to properly use them and avoided them for that reason as I felt like I was washing it all off. Thank you!!! I am in my mid 30s and suffer from adult acne, no cysts, just blackheads and whiteheads. My skin is not oily, but rather normal. I have had really bad luck with liquid gold. I used it as directed but every single time I have had massive under the skin, bumpy, hurting zits the very next day. It's not the type of acne I usually get, I hadn't changed anything else, so I attribute it to the product. I have tried using it less, same thing. I persevered for about two months, no change, I have given up. Can you recommend one that won't do this to me? I recently started using the new LRP effaclar duo+ and my skin loves it; do I still need an acid toner?

Hi! I am fairly new to your channel, maybe 3 months now, and first let me say that I have learned so much from you and I am now skin obsessed! So, thank you. Without making this too long, I have a question, I just received some treatment products from Perricone, the Cold Plasma subD along with Amine face lift and I am kind of overwhelmed! Do I do my entire skin routine, then apply all the treatment products last? I appreciate your advice and without sounding weird, I have to say the skin on your chest is noticeably smooth and very healthy looking, that sounded weird didn't it? Sorry!! Oh and I google everything! Lol!! Thank you again!

I'm really interested in the first aid beauty pads! However, I have the Bare Minerals glow pads already just sitting in my bathroom so I think I should use those first. It contains lactic and glycolic and salicylic acid, but it has alcohol as the 2nd ingredient. Caroline, (or anyone else with the knowledge) what do you think about the bare minerals formula? It has lots of other stuff that the First Aid Beauty one doesn't. Thanks in advance!
    Bare minerals formula:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Sd Alcohol 40b (Alcohol Denat.), Glycerin, Isononyl Isononanoate, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit/Leaf Extract, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Soil Minerals, Hydrolyzed Candida Saitoana Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Fruit Extract, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract/Saccharum Officinarum/Extrait De Canne A Sucre, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Euglena Gracilis Extract, Ceramide 2, Salicylic Acid, Retinyl Palmitate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Lavandula Hybridia (Lavandin) Oil, Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Tocopherol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Pca, Poloxamer 184, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Linalool, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil.

Have you got any thoughts about the Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid toner? It's one of the ones we can get readily in Australia, but maybe it's not around in the UK?
    Thanks!

Hi Caroline, I have very dry skin, prone to very slight eczema and I'm 26 years old. Acid toning is the only step i leave out in my skincare routine since I'm not too sure about it suiting my skin. Do you recommend it for very dry skin? If so what brand?
