Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Terrible migraines prevent me from being able to read blogs (or much else) so having the info available on video is a great service and MUCH appreciated. :)
I'm sitting here taking notes like I'm in class or something. I'm at the point in my life where taking care of my skin is really important. These videos are SO helpful, Caroline. And by the way -- the Google comment? NEEDED TO BE SAID, lol.
I love your honesty I can't understand why people who manage to find and watch/read your content can't google to find products mentioned, keep doing your amazing stuff Caroline x
love it. informative , funny, never mind the twenty minutes could listen to you all day. it's like watching a passionate professor giving a lecture x
SO thrilled to have found you via Ruth's channel! You are currently my favorite person on the internet.
I don't think you realise how funny you are Caroline! You always have me on stitches. I'm very much enjoying your channel.
Caroline - you are so superb at talking to the camera!! I hang on your every word :) Keep the knowledge coming my skin has never looked better and now all that makeup I own actually looks good!!! It's all about the canvas!!
Hi Caroline. I know this is an older video, but I watch all the time. Thank YOU for getting me to acid tone! In a short period of time it has made a huge difference!!! Thank you!! Sending gratitude from Boston!
Great video Mrs H!! Thank you for taking the time to make it.. Keep up the excellent work!!
i know it's strange but i absolutely love the way you talk and facial expressions
Dear Caroline, thank you again! It was amazing!! *AGAIN*!! :)) You are just lovely!!
Caroline, I loved the way you ended this video! Your laid back and concise way of explaining things is great! Thanks for making videos and compiling all of this information. :)
Can't thank you enough for your time to share all this skin care knowledge with us. Where would I ever get this information from without having to spend a lot of money on a single product! Thank you and love your vids, your honesty and esp your character :D xx
Love that you are doing videos now, Caroline! Watching your pixiwoo video over a year ago now has really helped me step up me game (or at the very least, taught me that I NEED to double cleanse!!) and I think you are fantastic. Your no BS approach is a godsend. Keep up the good work!
Also, I know it's a hobby/part-time job but I think lots of us would love to see routine videos with products for different skin types (too much of an ask? Sorry!)
Again, love your work!
Don't apologise for the "Maybe you could google it" we're on the internet watching your videos, not in your clinic. It's totally reasonable to not know exactly or name a stockist for each country! Sure you link to the products website & I think it's up to the products manufacturers to have comprehensive stockist information on their sites.
Thank you for all of the helpful information. I'm learning so much and appreciate your videos.
I could listen to you for days! You are so knowledgable. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us! My skin thanks you also! I can see a change already after a few months of using products you have recommended here.
:)
its official, my new favourite youtuber is the wonderful Mrs Hirons. x
The "Lady Garden area". Oh Caroline, you always manage to crack me up.
It might be silly, but I imagine your entire family having amazing skin ^^". It's so cool that you teach your kids how to take care of their skin from an early age!
Don't apologize for asking people to google their own info. It's actually faster than waiting for a response to be quite honest. :)
Would love it if one day caroline came out with her own skincare line!
Thank you for your free advice, i really appreciate it! I just love you woman, i learned so much from you. Thank you again!
love your videos Caroline! very informative and so easy to watch.
Wonderful and super informative! Thanks so much Caroline.
I loved the end part about googling where to buy the products ;-)
Big fan of acids and how they keep my skin looking fresher, glad you talked about some brands I had not heard of before ! Thanks
Please say "bob's your uncle" every video! It makes me giggle every time. I love it.
Love these videos. Keep them coming in your own timeframe; they're worth waiting for. 😜
You haven't once ever mentioned a Paulas Choice product. That to me speaks volumes and it's all the information I need on that matter. Thanks😘
The fact she didn't mention about PC products can only mean PC acids are not good enough?
Relax. There are also probably a thousand other products she hasn't mentioned in this ONE video. If that's all the information you need, well... that's unfortunate for you. BTW... she has recommended Paula's Choice Products on her blog. And if you work for Paula's Choice, that also speaks volumes.
I was about asking on PC as well!
And I do not work for them!
It's strange they are missing on this list!
raffimicra I'm sure I remember either a video or a blog post where Caroline said something which suggested there's some bad blood between her and Paula, so I think maybe Caroline avoids talking about the product line.
cosmetichameleon Absolutely untrue. I have absolutely no problem with Paula Begoun. Have a read! :) www.carolinehirons.com/2013/06/paula-begoun-rumour-mill-and-make-your.html
Thanks so much for all the helpful information! Can't wait to see more videos from you in the future.
I'm going to try the Pixi Mist. I've bookmarked a few new sites featuring these product. Now I know that not all toners are the same. I will get one it.
Great Video. Keep them coming when you can.
Love your videos, learnt so much about skincare in general n what products to use by just watching your videos. Just wanted to say thanks for making an effort to help us get great skin thank u xxx
Caroline I just love you to bits! Agree with the google part!! Like for F sake I get annoyed when I see those comments! Can't imagine what's it's like for you. I really appreciate the info you share. Thanks girl!
Love that you are doing videos now Caroline!! Your approach to skincare has taught me so much and has helped me to reach my best skin in YEARS
I quickly wanted to ask you if you had a opinion on the NIP+FAB glycolic fix pads?
keep them coming xx
I love my pixie glow tonic. I tend to use it everyday would you not recommend doing this? Also want to go and purchase the first aid beauty radiance pads. Love the mix of high end and more affordable products. You have changed my skin care for the better thank you so much for the blog and youtube we really appreciate the time and effort it takes x
I use the Glow Tonic twice daily with absolutely no issues, and I would be considered fairly sensitive. YMMV, but I find it fairly mild. And I agree, Caroline is such a wonderful person to take this kind of time for us. :D
I use the pixie glow tonic every morning, but a different acid at night. Hope that's helpful. She has mentioned she likes mixing it up and not using the same one morning and evening.
Caroline says in the video around 6.07 that you can use Pixi Glow Tonic more regularly than the others.
Thanks so much Caroline this is so helpful
Thanks to you my lady garden has no bumps! Love!
the content in your videos is always amazing! I would love to see one on the sprays you like to use!
this info is very useful and thanks for making a video about it! Love the FAB option have been using for a couple people weeks now. Awesome results and now totally don't need to use other non chemical exfoliates at all. I get electrolysis on a weekly basis and these help tremendously! With regards to Pixi, since target closed down in Canada, it is no longer available :(
I've got lots of ideas of how to spend the £150 needed to get the Space NK goodie bag on Wednesday , please keep these videos coming.
really love your videos very informativ and you are hilarious, so authentic, only downside for me is that you can´t get hold of most of this stuff in germany, even with online shopping its quit difficult
Another fantastic video! Thanks for the tip on ingrown hairs. Please don't feel bad for telling us to "google it" I don't expect you to tell me what products are available in Australia and where and others shouldn't for their country either. Keep up your fantastic informative videos :)
Thank you Caroline.
You made me buy First Aid Beauty's Facial Radiance Pads - I'm worried that will be the first of many purchases that will be your fault :) You are brilliant!
Thanks to you, I see changes in my skin. I am +ve I'll have clear skin ONE DAY and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Mrs. Hirons
Lol. I love watching you...it's sooo much fun xxx. Definitely keep them coming. Videos that is!!!
First off, thanks so much for the videos. Secondly, that coral on you is SUPER flattering! Thirdly, will you be addressing oils anytime soon? I am especially interested in your thoughts on argan, tamanu and rose hip. 💐💐💐💐-Cindy
I am loving your videos Caroline. Just what I want; straight to the point, straight up and funny. Love it! I am trying to figure out an acid for me. I have dry/sensitive/rosacea prone skin. The rosacea is almost gone bar slight redness on my cheeks after following your sage advise on your cheat sheets so I must thank you! It's plagued me for years. Can any of you lovelies recommend one of these acids for me at all? Thank you xx
Any info you have the time to share Caroline is great - it's all a bonus anyway isn't it?
I'd rather have a RUclipsr who shares good stuff when they can than one who just loads videos and waffles on. So thank you for the good stuff. x
Great video, I just can't decide which one I want to try 😁 xxx
I've been using the max correction pads by PTR lately and I hate the required splash of the water... hydrating spritz for me yay!
"He will throw a chemical at it even if it's a tomato"
Caroline you truly are a gem hahahaa
Hi Caroline!!!!! Another great video!!!! As you were talking about the Peter Thomas Roth pads you were holding the cleanser in your hand but never talked about it. I use the one you were holding almost everyday. Are the pads the same thing? Love these videos!
Big Hugs!!!!! Deb
You make me laugh.....lady garden....love it! Love your videos, very good info you put out there. Keep them coming...of course after all your other jobs :)
Great videos Caroline! Love how frank you are! Have you tried the bliss glycolic resurfacing pads? I use them and PGT, wondered what you thought of them xx
Hi caroline, you can get the Biologique Recherche P50 at a store in St. Johns Wood High street, right next to Space N.K.! It sells a lot of the range there :)
Hello Caroline. I have oily skin with whiteheads. IAM Intersted in two acid pads brands: Zelens resurfacing pads, and Dr Dennis Gross extra strengths beta peel pads. Which would you choose for me please? I get extremely excited whenever I watch your videos.
Im a new sub and a new fan loooove ur little rants! I have complicated skin (it should be a type!) acne prone with sensitivity to almost everything, oily but is dehydrated (don't know how its possible but i was told by an esthetician) and so on, anyway im gonna star trying acid toners starting with low percentages and work on up if i can stand it, thank u for being so informative and straight foward :D
Love it! Thanks Caroline
LOVE this video!
I loved your "maybe you could Google it?" comment. Great video. Have ordered the PTR Unwrinkle pads for my (extensive) acid toner collection.
I do my best to concentrate & listen, I really do! But I can't take my eyes off you Caroline, you're so beautiful! X
I use these kind of acids but in a gel form, so it won't be considered a toner, but I really like it for my acne marks and hyperpigmentation so I though that I could share. It's the Neostrata Gel Forte, with Glycolic in a 15% and Salicilic in a 2%. It's very common in Spain, but I don't know about de UK.
Hi, great video. Would you please be able to tell me which acid toner is best for brightening the skin (overtime)? Thanks in advance.
hi caroline! wonderful & very helpful video as always.
I rarely hear you talk about origins products. is there anything else in the range worth checking out?
What do you think about professional salon peels? Will you be doing a video on that? Great videos btw :) very informative!
Love the videos :) keep them coming !!!
Don't have to do the sound but I absolutely will! ;)
Keep them videos coming !
Hi Caroline! I've been binge-watching your channel trying to find mention of products good for sensitive skin (I possibly have rosacea as well and in my 30s). Do you have any recs for cleansers, acids, serums that would be well-tolerated?
oh Caroline, you are the greatest!
Caroline I just love for personality! Fantastic. :)
Oh my god almost choked on my lunch when you said 'Oh no, too harmful dangerous for the skin' hahhaha absolutely hilarious!!
Totally agree with you on the "maybe you could google it." Made my day :)
ahah love the screamed "please subscribe!" at the end. Two very helpful videos :)
Hi Caroline! I love your channel and all of the information. Do you know of or have you used the Nordic Skin Peel with Alpha-Beta Complex peel pads? Do you have an opinion on them? Good, not good, etc...
What is the name of the acid Clarins toner? I would like to try that one in next rotation. I just got off Serious Skin Care glycolic/lactic pads,(very good HUGE and soaked in product, I cut mine in half lasted a year), now I've been using the PTR un-wrinkle peel pads,(he has two kinds 1 for more acne/oily/problem skin-makes my dry skin-drier), and I absolutely love them. I cut them in half also and they are so juicy I can get a double swim/scrub on my face/decolatte,(hs? sounds like very uber fancy coffee the way I have it spelled), then I go over my hands/finger/wrists and then I finish off the bottom of my feet w/them to keep old hospital feet callouses soft and a bit refined.
I was sure the exfoliating toner by clarins be would mentioned O.o
Just wanted to say HUGE THANKS for you for sharing so much useful information! Bought many very nice products i would never look at myself!
though sometimes i feel strange that products i like to google reviews on are commented by lades 45+ and I'm just almost 30...
Have a very lovely day\evening! big fan of yours :)
Hi Caroline, I have been reading your blog all day trying to find something that could help me. For the last few weeks I have had awful cystic breakouts all around my chin. It was recommended for me to use Dermalogica special clearing booster that has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide and this product has just been drying out the skin around the breakouts. They are still very sore and inflamed, with new spots developing. Can you recommend something that could help me with these breakouts?
Hi Caroline you had mentioned that we could get the P50 1970 in the states - but I noticed the link provided did not have the 1970 option. I tried googling but couldn't find it, do you know where we could purchase it in the states? I'd love to get it for my mother. Also knowing that you love Pixi skin treats glow tonic, how do you feel about the Pixi skin treats serum? Thanks for the tip with the PTR pads, I purchased them and then - I wondered how to properly use them and avoided them for that reason as I felt like I was washing it all off. Thank you!!! I love that you're on RUclips now!

The La Roche Posay Effaclar "toner" really broke me out. I'm so nervous about trying other chemical exfoliants after that. I'll have to work up the nerve to try an acid toner.
come back to me Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Toner :( I'll start trying these as an alternative! xo
I am in my mid 30s and suffer from adult acne, no cysts, just blackheads and whiteheads. My skin is not oily, but rather normal. I have had really bad luck with liquid gold. I used it as directed but every single time I have had massive under the skin, bumpy, hurting zits the very next day. It's not the type of acne I usually get, I hadn't changed anything else, so I attribute it to the product. I have tried using it less, same thing. I persevered for about two months, no change, I have given up. Can you recommend one that won't do this to me? I recently started using the new LRP effaclar duo+ and my skin loves it; do I still need an acid toner?
EMBRACE THE ACIDS
Caroline, what do you think of Clarins Gentle Exfoliator and Goldfaden MD Doctors Scrub? Thanks!
www.carolinehirons.com/2013/01/clarins-exfoliating-toner-my-most.html
wow, thanks, eizhowa - you are super helpful! Appreciate it! xx
Hi! I am fairly new to your channel, maybe 3 months now, and first let me say that I have learned so much from you and I am now skin obsessed! So, thank you. Without making this too long, I have a question, I just received some treatment products from Perricone, the Cold Plasma subD along with Amine face lift and I am kind of overwhelmed! Do I do my entire skin routine, then apply all the treatment products last? I appreciate your advice and without sounding weird, I have to say the skin on your chest is noticeably smooth and very healthy looking, that sounded weird didn't it? Sorry!! Oh and I google everything! Lol!! Thank you again!
Caroline, I was wondering about the pHs of the products. Since many brands don't include the pH of the product, how can we know that it is indeed formulated at a pH that will allow exfoliation of the skin?
many people make their own apple cider vinegar toner. I wonder if this can be used as the acid toner for my skin, you've warned about the usage of lemon but how about apple cider vinegar?
God, love this lady!
Not long im sure you're very talented :) and no bulshitting I love that 👌
love ur vdo s .. highly informative . helps a lot! But do tell when to use them ..means toner acid moisturiser .. or acid ..toner .. moisturiser . I am kind of unsure there.
What do You think about Mandelic Acid? Love the videos :)
Pleaaaaase Caroline do a video on facial massage!!
Caroline, Do you like the Tata Harper Boosting Serum? Thank you
I'm surprised you never mentioned the Clarins exfoliating toner, do you not like that one?
I'm really interested in the first aid beauty pads! However, I have the Bare Minerals glow pads already just sitting in my bathroom so I think I should use those first. It contains lactic and glycolic and salicylic acid, but it has alcohol as the 2nd ingredient. Caroline, (or anyone else with the knowledge) what do you think about the bare minerals formula? It has lots of other stuff that the First Aid Beauty one doesn't. Thanks in advance!

Have you got any thoughts about the Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid toner? It's one of the ones we can get readily in Australia, but maybe it's not around in the UK?
Thanks!
Also, what do you think of the Paula's Choice skin care? I purchased some the other day and wanted to know your expert thoughts :) thank you xx
She has briefly mentioned Paula on her website: www.carolinehirons.com/search/label/Paula%20Begoun
Hope that is of some help:)
eizhowa ah brilliant, will check it out now. Thank you :)
Hi Caroline, I have very dry skin, prone to very slight eczema and I'm 26 years old. Acid toning is the only step i leave out in my skincare routine since I'm not too sure about it suiting my skin. Do you recommend it for very dry skin? If so what brand?
x
Good videos, thank You!! Can You tell, how started Your acid passion?:D:)
