THE CAR I USED - The NR4 (or R4) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is a rally-ready version of the Evo X specifically designed for competition in the FIA's Group N rally category, which focuses on production-based cars with limited modifications allowed for competition.
Built on the solid foundation of the road-going Evo X, the NR4 variant is finely tuned for rallying, featuring enhancements to its engine, suspension, and safety components while maintaining much of the original production car's structure and specifications.
Under the hood, the NR4 Evo X typically houses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, modified to meet Group N regulations. While power output can vary depending on specific rally regulations and tuning, it generally falls within the range of around 280 to 330 horsepower.
