I can't handle polyester in shirts so haven't tried this one yet but wow, the drape of it is amazing! I've been wearing the Uniqlo U crew and the Supima Cotton tees almost exclusively for awhile now though, they really have the t-shirt game locked up.
Ah interesting! I've been wanting to try the U crew and supima shirts too! I think the ultimate Uniqlo tee for me would be the supima cotton material with the oversized half sleeve cut. the Oversized cotton airism shirt should be rly good for cooler weather tbh
I just tried the L size and I don't feel it is oversized. After watching your video, seems like 2XL is better, I would even send it to my tailor and chop off the excess portion. One part I don't like is the colour, it doesn't feel exactly true black colour, it got this slight mixed of deep navy blue colour in it. I live in Singapore, is hot and humid all day. Thanks for the review.
@@btc-50m yeah definitely go larger than your normal size if you want an oversized look 👌🏼 2XL is the sweet spot for me. Yeah the color isn’t as dark as some black tshirts. It still looks awesome tho 🖤 but can be pretty hot in sticky weather.
I just went to Japan , they were a lot cheaper and so happened to be on sale, I just got one of each colour and now I just wear these everyday and my wardrobe looks like a rainbow! I roll the sleeves up a little so it doesn’t look so baggy. Sizes in Japan run one smaller though so lucky I tried it on before buying so many!
It's high quality when it's relatively new. Hard to get stains out bc it's polyester blend and u can't was it on 90 degrees. Also it's super hot and when you sweat easily it actually stinks bc it's polyester and the t shirt doesn't breathe at all. Never had such a bad t shirt ever, I went back to 100% cotton t shirts after this.
That’s fair! Yeah the poly blend makes it a tough shirt for super hot weather 🥵 I could see it being a decent good option for the fall/spring on cool days tho where we want a lil warmth, but want the short sleeve silhouette
Yasss good tip 👏🏼 I have a boxy wide Y-3 tee from 2023 that’s similar in silhouette but is much lighter and thinner, w 100% cotton. Which one do you recommend?
Truth. That said, I still dig the shirt! But yeah, prob won’t be wearing it regularly in 100+ F weather 🥵 their undershirt variant feels somewhat breathable cuz it’s more of a loose, thin mesh synthetic material. But yeah, I’m p skeptical of most “breathable” synthetic fabrics tbh
@@MarionSerrano ahh ty for the support! Ooof yeah I hear Philippines is super hot and steamy too 🥵 wouldn’t recommend this shirt for that climate at all lol
What do you think about Uniqlo AIRism tees? Legit or skip? 🧐

Y-3 has a boxy fit tee with a similar shape that's 100% cotton, it's pretty pricey but I think it's a good alternative!

tech + fashion = spicy combo
I like heavy T-Shirts, that cut looks good on you. 🦇
Hiiii Mark 🥹👏🏼 yeah heavy shirts feel so good! You might dig this one. I think it’ll be awesome for spring/fall 👌🏼
Yeah. Airism is marketing BS for Uniqlo. Almost all their Airism products are polyester blend or full polyester, which is super hot.
