- You won't believe the story of this dog! He is now safe and is going to need a lot of love and care. Homer was a homeless dog that was running around for months after being tied up. Thank goodness a dog rescue jumped in to help so that they could save this poor puppy. Homer will need surgery and his road to recovery of being a feral dog could be a long one but I am willing to do whatever it takes.

It’s Jan 2024 and I just saw this video. I am sorry for the loss of your wife’s little brother, your brother in law. I know even tho it’s 4 yrs later that I am watching this I know the pain of losing a loved one still rears its ugly head so I am hoping God blessed and is blessing you all continuously. As for Homer, please tell him that my heart goes out to him and many blessings are asked for him. I also rescued a dog that the owner had wrapped the chain around his neck so tight that it was embedded in his neck and the owner was my neighbor. Happy to say after I called the police and the SPCA came, he was removed and taken to an animal rescue farm here in Jersey and the police brought charges against the owner and the court made the owner pay for all the vet bills that were needed. I hope Homer is still living and living the best life ever. Thank you Rocky for that heart of yours that is always breaking and we will pray that your heart remains strong enough to continue. You did not deserve what happened to you. I wish there was some way for me to take all your pain and fear away from you. I just watched this video in February 2024. I understand the healing for a scared dog that hasn't had good experiences with humans as my son and I foster scared "littles" for a dog rescue based in Northern Colorado. We're only on our 25th foster dog but it is a blessing to watch them heal, relax, and start to enjoy life as a happy, loved dog in a home before they go to a loving furever home where they continue to blossom.
I'm sorry to hear about the death of your brother-in-law. While it was not unexpected, my little sister died in December 2010.
Homer I am sorry for what happened to you. Not all humans are like that. Know you are in the best hands possible and I love you.
I watched the video yesterday of Homer’s first tail wag and I thought about this poor dogs injury all night in bed. I wanted to find how this happened. What a horrible experience. I’m glad you helped him and I hope he continues to get well and finds a good home. I am so sorry for your wife’s loss. 🌹
What has gone wrong with homer,please I want to know,was he sexually abused,or there is some other reason,I will want to hear from the people who are now taking care of him,I want him to come out of all the dangers and tremors he has been through,first of all Human beings u need to understand that you odious are Humans not an animal,please please don't interfere w with poor innocent animals..........God is the one who have created them,do not harm these creatures.
