I was the part of an energy expo held in karachi last march and i saw a electric rakshaw and it was made by a pakistani and it was dominant in every field and it was amazing they have bikes like this too and they were cheaper then even their top of the list (which was shaped like a heavy bike) was cheaper then suzuki 150 with a range of 130 km if someone promote these i think we can deal with fuel price crisis ......

I own a Model Y, no build quality issues whatsoever especially for Shanghai builds, the quality is now flawless. I went to the delivery center with a checklist and could not find a single issue. Hope this helps.

On the road it might appear to you that an EV is greener. It is nice to state the obvious and positive aspects of EVs, we need to consider some of the downsides as well which maybe shocking to many I am afraid. I would like to enlist a few below.
EVs seem environmentally friendly at first glance, with no exhaust pipe emissions. However, their manufacturing process, especially lithium extraction, exacts a hefty toll, contributing to a whopping 45% more carbon footprint compared to conventional cars.
To truly offset their carbon footprint, EVs must cover a minimum of 30,000 kilometers, provided the electricity source is clean. In regions heavily reliant on coal and fossil fuels like India, China, and many others, the dream of green EVs remains distant unless we transition to renewable energy sources like hydroelectric, solar, and nuclear power.
EV production generates massive amounts of E-waste, primarily due to their hefty battery units. Proper disposal and management of this E-waste is a looming challenge, even in developed countries. In contrast, 99% of conventional vehicle batteries are recycled, minimizing E-waste.
These revelations lead us to a crucial conclusion: to combat greenhouse gas emissions effectively, we must phase out fossil fuels and embrace renewables. Simultaneously, exploring alternatives to lithium for battery production is imperative. It's time for a greener, more sustainable future."

The worst service i ever paid for is Pakwheels sell it for me service. It shattered my trust level on pakwheels.
They just took 7000rs initial amount and never look back into it.
2 parts were like 10% or 15% painted and they marked them as full part painted. And explained customer as accidental parts. Those were painted not accidented…
They will devalue your car. And will look for ease to sell it below the market value . Personally experienced this. My car was selling at 22.5 lacs at private showroom. Like private showroom was offering himself. And pakwheels estimated it’s value as 21lacs. Although i told them to sell at 24lacs. But they keep telling me 21 ki offer aa rhi yhi value hai gari ki.
They don’t put out any effort to explain your car details to buyer . Just khana pori krte hein.
They don’t take regular followups from buyers .
Was completely unsattisfied with service . And removed my add. And sold car myself. And i also complained their department but no response or followup call came back!!!

Model X has great tech but it's poor quality. Tesla is a mostly a software company not a car company. Matt Watson and others has criticized Teslas for poor quality panel gaps, shoddy paint etc
American made cars have always been poor quality. Since 1980s days of Jeremy Clarkson has been bashing American cars for their horribe quality. Now Consumer reports rank Kia, Hyundai Lexus amongst the best followed by the Germans, Europeans

Is it viable to have an electric car in Pakistan?
Unfortunately PakWheels extorted Rs 10K from me for the sake of an inspection of a vehicle which I wanted to buy and paid Rs 10K to PakWheels for inspection but later decided not to buy. However PakWheels didn’t return my amount in the garb of some of their ridiculous policy of not to return money. Shame on you guys PakWheelers. I will sue you guys in a court of law.
inspection does not mean k they would return your inspection money in case you dont buy ! Infact you shoudl thank them for reviewing it and not spending on a car which is not worth it !
