Couldn't get a ks3m, so bought the equivalent in KS0 pros. Why? 1) they are quiet 2) standard 120v plug 3) easier resale due to the lower price point
Not holding my breath but due to the unfortunate price decrease in KAS and the network hash increase, I'd hope to see some price per unit deceases...

Man ks5 is Big money. Great machine but u gotta get it fast. But if that things breaks ur out 38k. Tough choice tbh
@@DjMines ya that's just it need them to mine for about 5 years. Wonder what the cost to fix would be? I feel the name of the game is to mine heavy up front. Id like to see the machines at the 20k mark over 30s. But the higher the price the fewer than will use them. May be a good risk reward

For 5k, it would be a KS2.
Today, I feel lucky. Have a KS3M and a KS0Pro running. Also set up an KAS node to support the network. Have some issues with the bridge, but that is something else =P

NO! It's not worth investing in an Asic miner for KAS. That is IF you want to make the most money off KASPA as you can at the top of this next bull run. The hashrate increase is destroying the yield. You will NEVER mine as many coins as you can buy with the same money, on the same day. So just buy the coin and mine something else with your GPUs.

I can't verify the rewards you named, but I believe it. But what if Kaspa becomes even bigger? Long term those coins could be worth a lot. Who knows though :)
I've been keeping tabs on the yield. The coins you bought today would be worth the same amount as the coins you mined. But you'd have MORE coins if you bought instead of mined. That’s because you’d never mine as many coins as you could buy. At least not by the top of the next run when you'll sell. If you didn't GPU mine KAS early, the most profitable play is to buy the coin and hold.
I've come to the same conclusion. I bought an original KS0 in August for $1000. At the time, that money would have gotten me 30,000 KAS. That miner will NEVER mine that much KAS. Lesson learned. Since then I buy the coin when it dips or use unmineable to build my bag.

@@DjMines I LOVE being a miner and mined the hell out of Kas early. It's just that you're too late to mine this coin now. IF, and this is an important if, you want to make as much money off Kaspa as you can. Just buy the coin, and forget about income taxes and power. Then turn your GPUs on to #Radiant or some other coin.
I have 3 KS0 Pro Mining since December 1. Now i earn 70 kas a day.
Have two kso pro. They are cheaper, no sound problem etc. Also i m buying double amount with mining amount. (daily 42 kas / mining plus 84 kas / coin buying) this is my way.

U can get gpus and mine other coins
For 5K I would buy 5 KS0 Pros (2500usd to the door) purchase 5x 280Gh/s OC (315usd ish) OC to a total of 1500Gh/s (, invest 350 ish usd in server PSU + step-up converters (12v to 19,5v minimum 230W) + barrel plugs rated ar 15A + 3D printed cooling shroud covering the whole miner + propper 120mm fans (7,6m3/min) + 360Gh/S OC files for the miners (price currently unknown), then OC each miner to whatever they can do , potensial 1,8Th/s, estimated ROI 2024-09-04, And by KAS for the remaining 1835usd just as insurance. Then sell the miners around feb 2025 for minimum three times the investment and buy kas for it, badabingbadaboom
