This is the last region where he looked like Ash.In Alola he looks like some chubby faced 8 year old, and Journeys he has stick arms and legs, looking like he’s not 10 because he hasn’t even graduated to wearing trousers.This Ash and the earlier Ash’s are the real him.Alola and Journeys is too much of a watered down Ash, one who always goes along with things and doesn’t seem to mind that Goh wants to catch every Pokémon just because, no battling or any sort of goal other then catch them and dump them in a lab.Earlier Ash’s would be against this, but now he has to be always happy.This is Ash, with the cap, the determination, the love of Pokémon and anger at people who want to catch them for purely selfish reasons, the spiky hair, the gloves, the outfit that screams trainer, the gloves, and looking like at least ten-16.
