Heartwarming to see the interaction with you and your daughter! The images are fantastic. What do you think about the new Hasselblad 907X 50C MF camera. I love for you to do comparison shoot-out.
Dear friend, I'd appreciated your comments a lot, thank you so much for your kind words, Yes, for the new 907x with CFvii 50c is a great one from my uses experience [you can following this clip with my youngest daughter ruclips.net/video/gmaF9hOwdpo/видео.html ] I have the same idea like you to do compare the 903swc and the 907x as well, so please give me some time for preparing the make the comparison soon, thank you again dear friend, John
great show, one tip, for your daughter, if you want to be sure it's in focus stop the lens down {this shows you the REAL depth of focus with the iris setting you WILL use in the exposure}, on YOUR swc {the CF lens} from OPERATING position, on the left of the lens at 9:o-clock, there is a spring loaded lever, press downwards, it will CLICK, don't worry you haven't broken it!!, just this stop-down lever has a catch, the latch has just dropped into this, and touched metal; to reset to normal, press on the upper section of the lever, it pivots, and is released from this hold-closed catch, it simply springs back to it's former resting position. For C lens users, the iris stop-down is a smaller lever, at the 6 o'clock position, you PRESS this, with the apature ring set at the apature you will use, then the lens stops down automatically (to reset, you must return the iris ring to the widest apature of the lens, it ' de-selects' this feature when you hit the ring's stop (fully open iris).
Andy!! Thank you so much for your advise sir, it's very useful for the real depth of focus in advance states, you so cool man!! Many thanks again for your helpful as always, have a great time dearest friend, lol
@@hasselbladexpert thats fine, the dof is a good way of checking things, in some cases, not all, as it is darker, and at full open (f 2.8/f 4) you get the most shallow dof the lens can give you, so the contrast between in and out of focus elements is the greatest, which if you have trouble seeing can be a good assist to this, or, if you are doing an indoor product or portrait shoot where the focus point is crutial to the shot you are making.
Dear Mark, Thank you so much for your nice and kind words, that most appreciated, I knew I have to more improves my English for better listening :) I really wish everyone to see the video and getting inspire and go out to have family's activities together, before our children grown up and leaving home to have their new family, This is a great home heartwarming, I think, Hope to meet you someday when I visit my wife's close friend who married with Australian in Perth soon, Thank you again dear friend, John
wow, great video John, but also Thankyou, Never knew that the 903SWC wide angle camera had that viewing glass, RUclips videos of the Flexbody show it, as it's the only way to focus, but nice to know you don't have to rely on the small finder for focussing, it's just a composition aid, and you can use the std viewers.
Fantastic video and so helpful. I see that SWC images are little more contrasty and vibrant. Based on these pics, my conclusion is that if we already have a 500 series system, just get the 40mm FLE instead of SWC to save $$ and some trouble composing. 41050 screen combined with a finder in a kneeling position for SWC is more difficult and less joyful than 40mm with WLF, in my humble opinion.. Once again, thanks for such a great comparison video and expect to see more such contents..
Hi dear, Thank you so much for your ideas to sharing, in the video the film and the exposed or even the tripod position are the same, cause I need to know what's the different between these two lens, Yes, the color contrast and vibrant can expected from the SWC [I did tested for many rolls of film] from my personal idea And yes, I do agree with your conclusion for some friends who have limited budgets, the 40mm lens great for the 500 200 and 2000 cameras model, I would be recommended for all who have no financial barrier, because the optical quality, also it's can't be put down from both by the camera and lens design for use in different purpose and photography lifestyle or professionally, Many thanks again for sharing these dear friend, cheers!!
😁 Those monkeys are very cheeky. They can sneak up from behind and empty your pockets without you knowing. I always have a friend with me to watch them. 🤗 I have a special lens you would like to see, I'm sure. It's a Schneider 55mm tilt-shift lens that was produced for the 6000 Rollie series, but this one has a Hasselblad mount. It can only be used on the Hasselblad 2000 bodies. Lop Buri is only an hour from my town but I will also be going to Bangkok regularly to process film. 👌
