Busta Myth | Throw Your Hands at the Ball

Don't throw your hands at the ball, throw your barrel at the ball. Players that throw their hands at the ball hit a bunch of roll over ground balls and pop ups. When you use a hammer, you don't throw your hand at the nail, you throw the head of the hammer at the nail. When you cast a fishing line, you don't throw your hands or handle at the pond, you throw the tip of the rod at the water.
Try getting to contact position while keeping your hands still and try to get the head of the bat moving back and forth in the zone. This will help you feel what it's like to throw the barrel at the ball with whip and direction.
