  • Leonard M. Adleman, winner of the Association for Computing Machinery's A.M. Turing Award, Adleman recounts his work with Ron Rivest and Adi Shamir to create what became known as the RSA cyptosystem, widely used to secure Internet communications. He beings by discussing the invention of public key cryptography by Diffie and Hellman, earlier winners of the award. This clip is taken from an interview conducted with Adelman by Hugh Williams for the ACM on August 18, 2016.     This gives me goosebumps! One of the greatest discoeries with very large scale adoption. One had decency to value the other collegue so he added him. The other one had the decency to question it. 🥲
