This not only looks better but makes more sense. Why the hell does fazbear ent leave ALL the lights on at night? And Honestly, this is what I wanted from SB. I love it but, the idea of most of the lights being off with the neon lights piercing through the darkness is so much better and probably the thing I was most anticipating for SB's overall aesthetic.
Technically it does make sense for large facilities to leave most things on at night since it actually costs less money in the electric bill to leave it on then to use up all that energy in the morning turning everything back on at once But even them they usually at least turn the lights off 💀
it's funny because this what i think the game was supposed to look like because players found something in the code call light test which is a scrapped version of the lighting and shading that looked exactly like in the video
These are how the settings are in default for the pre-release build, and it's painfully obvious the game was always designed to be this way. All the old trailers and even the concept art show the Pizzaplex just like this, if not darker
I wish the game was like this. Dark, but with some lights still on (since big buildings like this tend to leave some lights on overnight for various purposes.) It also would have been cool I think to see even just a brief sequence of the power being cut off. Leaving the ENTIRE mall in COMPLETE darkness and silence.

This game would've been perfect if it was like this, the jumpscares were scarier, the ambience was scarier, and the fazer blaster was not in the game, with only the faz camera being something to defend yourself with
I think the Fazblaster can stay, they nerfed it a ton in the new patches so now its way harder to aim with and when you hit them the effect is only for like 3 seconds
The game would be perfect if there was a health system, a money system, a panic bar, and EVEN MORE ANIMATRONICS The health system will work like this: Taking fall damage or getting attacked by an animatronic will take away HP. You begin with 3 HP. And if attacked, use any healing item in your new inventory system meant for foods and collectables. You can buy healing items, Fazer Blaster batteries, more collectables, and other things after hacking an ATM. ATMs will often give the player fazcoins to be used to buy items. The panic bar would be used to scare the player the more they open false gift boxes or get attacked by an animatronic. Once you are in panic mode, Vanny will come in an sabotage your work or just head towards you. In order to calm down, you must eat panic-lowering foods or hide in any hiding spots for calming down. Different and much more animatronics will introduce new fear as some are now able to crawl through vents, as now, vents are now used to head through areas faster, and animatronics who are in the vents are terrifyingly. Others will destract you, harm you, chase you, single you out, trick you, etc;, but some animatronics aren't hurtful or agressive in any ways. If you attack and Guard Animatronic, they'll throw you in jail for 5 minutes as punishment. And by choosing what to say will either hurry the process or slow the process down. The Fazer Blaster can be used as a weapon, while the fazcam can be used as a trap to stun animatronics. You will also have an RC Car used to destract animatronics or pick up objects, but be aware, you have only one RC car. So if you spawn in another, the previous RC Car will be destroyed. By the way: You will be given 5 nights of repairing animatronics and picking up notes of an army of Vanny Cultists.
Idk if it was my tv, my PlayStation, or the earliest version of SB but my first play through looked similar to this, it was extremely dark and I honestly never really saw any of the characters until I pointed my flashlight at them until after the first patch, when I finished the other endings, game actually felt scary to me
How I would fix FNAF SB 1. Vanny is new main villain NOT William 2. add goar to the game 3. Freddy betrays Gregory in a alternate path and you have no protection 4. afton ending is not cannon and the dlc story is separate (the announced one) 5. Afton stays a glitch 6. Dead children 7. Vanny has her knife 8. As the night progresses in every way you play the game have the animatronics will become more aggressive 9. Make the game darker (story and lighting) 10. Make a new ending where vanny betrays William and take all power. (Becomes the new William but more crazy because of his influence on her) 11. Personally I'd have to disagree. Darkness doesn't CREATE good horror. Alien isolation has great lighting. It isn't pitch black to be scary. Although I will admit this is better
Like I said in the video, it doesn't FIX the game it just IMPROVES it, and I do definitely think the darker, more desolate pizzaplex along with the harder-to-spot animatronics makes it a good deal spookier than before. I definitely can agree that darkness isn't everything
@@sirfazbear4993 nobody hated it for being like alien isolation what do you mean? if anything they hated it for how the mechanics from alien isolation were implemented the game like me
Fun fact: to make something similar in the game in ps4 go with freddy to the security badge 5 room in fazer blast. Let freddy in the door to let it open automaticly. Then enter but dont grab the security badge, it should let the pizza plex darker
I recently bought the game for switch and I tried these settings and your right it does make the game a lot scary and also I've seen a lot of players just run around the pizzaplex but with the dark settings I makes me want to play it differently in a stealthy way using the cameras watching the patrol bots movements and move when the time is right
Much much better! Also the lights make more sense from a logical standpoint-usually Neon signs are kept on 24/7 cause it expands their lifespan, and TV screens often are just left running too since turning them off sometimes resets their settings, meaning the staff would have to fix colors and such every morning for all the screens (also helps light up the faces of potential thieves for the CCTVs, becoming a sort of deterrent). The pizza plex would more logically prioritize keeping those on, and save money by turning the rest of the overhead lights off.
To be honest, it felt more natural, especially when I heard them passing by you in the dark and the ambience giving off that creepy vibe, I swear my heart started beating more when I heard them patter in my headphones like they're next to me 😮 😂
when i was in the kitchen elevator underneath the second floor where the 6:00 am safe station is i was in an elevator and i suddenly deloaded and since i was near the kitchen i somehow for some reason ran all the way to these weird fence gates and they're actually from the lobby and when the game reloaded back in, all the lights are off even though i didn't earn any settings down this gave me the spokes it so dark it was like that scrap survival mode

FNaF: Security Breach was twice as scary because you can see from very far away but with the settings set like that, it's like you said like the old FNaF games in which you didn't see very far and where you had to quickly act if you don't want to end up stuck in a costume or have your skull crushed by an animatronic jaw. It changes the gameplay and it's cool!
Having the game dark like this seems to make it look less washed out. I love it. I'm completely used to this game on PS4 so maybe I'll try this brightness setting once I'm more used to the PC version. ❤️

This makes the game a whole lot better and makes sense because they might have used this in the trailers and the fact that it was used for the prototypes 👍
Is it just me, or does Roxy quit the chase way more quicker than Monty and Chica ONCE she have lost the sight of you? Is it because of cut content, or is it to indicate that she is not as good as Chica nd Monty to do anything else than racing and make ups because of her insecurities and overconfidence? And I wonder if Chica is actually faking her clumsy and crazy behavior to catch Gregory off guard at the right moment, like speeding up once she is close enough to you, and still chases you longer than Monty and Roxy AFTER she has lost the sight of you. Monty is in the middle of these 2 Glamrocks, which makes him the biggest threat of them all, and probably the reason why you meet him so rarely in order to balance the game for most newcomers without having the time to add a difficulty setting where you would meet him as often as Chica and Roxy.
This is even better since it hides the teleporting. Like I was in the Loading Dock part and Chica suddenly saw me, so I sprinted out the restrooms and tried to hide in the corner cuz there was no hiding spots, then I looked to my right and Chica was right there. It was horrifying.
This does look better. But, with the default settings I can barely even handle the game since I felt it was scary enough. (Mainly due to me not being used to horror games lol) But this is cool though ngl
Am I the only one for whom the fog is barely present anymore? I see people commenting this stuff, but i don't know if my game is just glitched, or if this is normal (I recently reinstalled Security Breach and decided to replay it before I play Ruin, and I noticed that the ambient fog is almost completely gone, it's really barely present)
@fnafgacha3223 I noticed that, but the fog is WAAY less intense (or just much further back?) than before. The lobby looks so bland without it, I've gotten so used to playing with the settings in this video, and now they do almost nothing. So this isn't a glitch, it's just how the game looks now?
There's a mod that someone made, they went into the game and turned off all the lights even the neon ones, background music, pretty much making it look like it actually closed for the night.
What they shoulda done was at the start of the game, it looks like this. And after some time, gregory finds a room that controls the power, leaving it off would keep the pizzaplex dark, making things harder to see but also making gregory harder to see. Or you could turn the lights on. Making gregory and the things around him more visible. Of course there would be other factors to consider like the daycare and the hourly power outage but it still woulda been cool.
Im on ps4 so do you now how to get the fog or anything like that back so i can make the game scarier with the lighting because i change the setting a lot from what you were saying so i could make it scary and i know you said you did this on pc but do you have any tips ?
I have the Xbox version too and at first I could do that, but then Scam Wool decided to change that and completely ruin it in an update, guess they really want to make sure that the game isn’t as scary as possible only for them to say that RUIN is an improvement
@@liljoeyredblue581 just saying they took away the only horror factor in the game At first you could make the lighting all the way dark but then they removed that and now you can’t even TRY to make it a little bit scary for your experience
I put these settings in it was Awesome! Besides this down below are what I would change about security breach. Have Vanny be main villain of game. Have more Vanessa with her original personality. Bonnie,Foxy or The Puppet being another animontrinc running around mall. Have a lot less Security Staff Bots Player is given actual choice on whether to shattered or save the other animontrincs. Halfway through the game Freddy becomes hostile and Vanessa becomes friendly. With Vanessa becoming friendly sooner you could get original ending or two where Gregory and Vanessa leave the mall together without Freddy.
Could you make a video about how to make FNaF VR scarier? I know this video was posted last year and Help Wanted came out a long time ago but still, it would be helpful (I've played too much FNaF and now none of the FNaF games are scaring me and I want to change that)

I could see this being a hard mode since it's much darker
I always wondered why most of the lights where on in a closed mall
It may be better when it's dark, but it needs better scarier ambience
it makes it creepy I like it! 😁
Can you do the same for ps5 please
I loved this video keep up the good work!
Random question, but what do you use to edit some of your more edited videos?
to make it darker turn up the contrast
The graphics look so much better
Would it work the same way on console? Also very good video.
This is actually a really cool idea. 💡😃
My question is are the jump scares different?
I think there the same
Every time, I play the game I turn the settings that it’s dark kind’ve and every time I stay after 6am I turn the settings up.
7:01 Why didn’t you come inside Freddy?
Say that again
The only problem what happens when moon turns off the lights in the daycare you’d go absolutely blind
Hello! For me with the new ruin patch the brightness setting in the video don’t really work do you think you can make an updated video?
Am I the only one for whom the fog is barely present anymore? I see people commenting this stuff, but i don't know if my game is just glitched, or if this is normal (I recently reinstalled Security Breach and decided to replay it before I play Ruin, and I noticed that the ambient fog is almost completely gone, it's really barely present)
@@HeyLoiss yeah in a way there is certain areas that still have it
@fnafgacha3223 I noticed that, but the fog is WAAY less intense (or just much further back?) than before. The lobby looks so bland without it, I've gotten so used to playing with the settings in this video, and now they do almost nothing.
So this isn't a glitch, it's just how the game looks now?
Springs, hit that yoinky sploinky!!
Yeah that would be cool
The lights off in the Pizza Plex looks like if the ruin DLC
This is the amazing but I don’t think mentally I could handle the daycare because the part with moon is already pretty scary
YES I tried this a long time ago!!
what percentage are the light settings?
The Roblox man face sprite LOL ur sona and art style is so cute
So basically the closest thing we get to hard mode for security breach
I’m gonna do the same thing with my ps4 lol good thing I updated it
I'm wondering why they keep the lights on at night, won't it waste power?
It does look way better and could be more scary but, the ai still kinda ruins it, but that's not your fault lol.
Elctrobab
How do the reflections on the floor look so good in your video?
Yknow the ruin trailer released a few weeks ago and since it's all just dilapidated and torn, I think this may become a reality
Im on ps4 so do you now how to get the fog or anything like that back so i can make the game scarier with the lighting because i change the setting a lot from what you were saying so i could make it scary and i know you said you did this on pc but do you have any tips ?
It can get pretty tense at moments: me when getting diamonds and almost dying in minecraft
It doesnt fully work for me but that might br because i got the xbox port for the game
I have the Xbox version too and at first I could do that, but then Scam Wool decided to change that and completely ruin it in an update, guess they really want to make sure that the game isn’t as scary as possible only for them to say that RUIN is an improvement
@@Joey-vs4fr wow -_-
@@liljoeyredblue581 just saying they took away the only horror factor in the game
At first you could make the lighting all the way dark but then they removed that and now you can’t even TRY to make it a little bit scary for your experience
I put these settings in it was Awesome! Besides this down below are what I would change about security breach.
Have Vanny be main villain of game.
Have more Vanessa with her original personality.
Bonnie,Foxy or The Puppet being another animontrinc running around mall.
Have a lot less Security Staff Bots
Player is given actual choice on whether to shattered or save the other animontrincs.
Halfway through the game Freddy becomes hostile and Vanessa becomes friendly.
With Vanessa becoming friendly sooner you could get original ending or two where Gregory and Vanessa leave the mall together without Freddy.
Could you make a video about how to make FNaF VR scarier? I know this video was posted last year and Help Wanted came out a long time ago but still, it would be helpful (I've played too much FNaF and now none of the FNaF games are scaring me and I want to change that)
I turned the brightness all the way down :)
How much procent is the gamma contrast and Brightness on
SB never gave a scary vibe. This fixes everything
