Therefore, Namjoon has been keeping his eyes on her to make sure that nothing bad happens to her until Taehyung decides to come back. However, Taehyung’s little sister does not know who Namjoon is, because she never met him.

'Love' is making a comeback in BTS's work after two albums, BUT, if you can notice, the boys are thinking about each other and missing each other. Then they find new friends who are girls. The girls inspire them (Namjoon's girl working hard, Jhope's girl) ,protect them (Yoongi's girl giving him lollipops instead of cigarettes), rekindle feelings in them (jungkook's girl making him come out of his shell, V wanting to protect the bad girl who was stealing because she's probably going through a rough patch just like our bad boy;V the street artist who breaks the law - thats their connection), care for them (Jhope's girl). The last line shows how after feeling betrayed by all these close friends who went their separate ways and in Jhope's case, being abandoned by his mom is causing them to doubt and fear new commitment and new love. All of them feel that they can't be loved, and if they are loved, they will be betrayed. But to love love another, one must first, love oneself. This is what the reels mean. Its about finding affection again. The whole concept is NOT a love line thing. Its idea of doubt and fear in relationships. BTS shows us that even with lyrics that sound like love songs in Young Forever, in the MVs, love is much more than just love between man and woman. Hence my quote on quote on love. just want to bring attention to the insane filmmaking happening here. some of these shots are mirrors to ones we've seen before- i'm not going to sit here and analyze each one cause i'm actually thinking of doing a video essay- BUT the attention to detail and how things are framed (literally from a cinematography stand point) can tell us so much about these storylines and characters themselves. Nothing was done by accident- this drama is going to be so well done. Even the tiny detail of that first shot of Hoseok opening his eyes should make you immediately think of his child self being told to close them and keep them shut- and where that got him. again, not going to go into deep analysis here BUT I'M JUST SO HYPE ABOUT THIS WHOLE THING OK. *as an army i'm obviously freaking out, but i'm proud to say i'm also seperately, unbaised-ly losing my shit as a film major.* and that's immensely satisfying for me. There's just so much more to BTS than just being a super cool, talented, gorgeous kpop band. they're truly *ARTISTS*, not just performers. edit: and props to bighit as well, BTS obviously has an amazing team working with them. they all never fail to blow me away. another edit: thanks for the likes lol you guys are dope!! another thought- if i do make an analysis video i think it's worth pointing out that some metaphors aren't worth picking apart to hell under a microscope, because they don't mean directly "this" or directly "that"- and it sometimes takes away from them to say that they do. some ideas are meant to be somewhat abstract. and some storylines are meant to serve as metaphors and not direct chronological outlines of a characters life (i think this is especially true in a lot of bts mvs). you feel me? but that said, there are a lot of amazing things going on that some people might miss, and certain narrative or metaphorical threads that absolutely play off one another that i'd love to explore. just nervous someone might make a similar video and post it first lol, then i'd feel weird posting mine. anyways thanks if you're still reading, i'm just rambling now lmao. fighting!

I am an international army so try my best to support BTS through social media like....... . Liking comments, liking videos. Sharing. Spreading positive things about them. I feel like social media isn't enough for some reason. I've never bought their album. I've never been to their concert ( although i know many international army's or army's who don't have a job...just like me, struggle with this same issue ). Like I could use this comeback as an example. I feel like i don't know much about it. I truly love BTS. I think their music is amazing. It makes me feel happy. All of the members are extremely beautiful BTS is also my favorite Korean boy group. It was in 2015 when I first discovered BTS, and ever since then I've been in love with them and their music. I just really really needed to get that out there.

There are already a lot of theories about the girls being bts' consciousness, guardian angels, reflections of themselves etc, but i wanted to add my own perspective: In inu we see bts committing suicide, v killing his father etc, so i think the girls actually travelled back in time to stop those things from happening by getting the boys back together. (Maybe even with the help of Jin, who is possibly the only one alive) The girl that drops her journal reminds jin of running away from the past and trying to leave problems behind. That, along with something that was written in the journal made him decide that he should instead confront the past (aka his past friends) just like he'll need to confront the girl to give the notebook back. The girl in the hospital stops Jungkook from going too fast with his wheelchair in the crowded hallway, which possibly led to an accident the first time around. The girl with Yoongi helps him get rid of his destructive habits, and later visits jungkook's hospital, in the hopes of getting him to remember their friendship. This causes jungkook to decide and call yoongi in the end (?) The girl who's handing out flyers reminds Namjoon of his job at the gas station, and with it the memories of his friends who (as seen in prologue, inu) have visited it, and the memories they shared there. This is why he is intrigued by the girl and seemingly follows her. Tae's girl is committing a crime, just like he used to do, and he pays for the things she's stealing, in a way redeeming himself of the crimes and the murder he would have committed. Hoseok's girl represents a motherly/sisterly figure that he is missing, and she is maybe even his adoptive sister, so when she baked him a cake, it was actually for his adoption date. Jimin is seemingly intrigued by the girl because he cares about Hoseok and aspires to be that kind of figure for him, so he is observing the girl and trying to learn from her. And hopefully, the boys will all be successfully reunited in the end, and all of this will have a happy ending! Like I said, a lot of these have already been said, but I wanted to add some things that i still hadn't seen mentioned. Thanks for reading, and if you have anything to add, please do!

Someone pointed out on twitter that the girl Namjoon is following is very similar to taehyung's sister that we saw previously in STIGMA, maybe that's why RM is following her, to take care of her because he can't do the same to Taehyung who run away. Jungkook recognised the melody that Yoongi's girl was singing because he probably was the one to make that song with Suga (as you can see in 1:58 it looks like JK was giving SG instructions to make a high note and SG goes like 'yeah that sounds cool') and after seeing the lighter he recognized it as Yoongi's and maybe got help from her to contact him (the phone call at the end). As for JH and JM, well personally I don't think that Jhope is in love with the girl, in the last video he seemed confused when she brought him the cake'but it's not my birthday' he said and it seems that the focus with his story line will be about his relationship with his mom rather than something else. As for Taehyung I think that Tae is keeping the girl by his side to protect her and make sure not to fall in troubles just like he did, maybe she reminded him of his little sister/his old self or something... We didn't get to see Jin's girl but what confuses me the most about his part is the fact that he was aiming first to wear somehow casual clothes to change it later to a formal suit (???) like why the sudden change. EDIT: or maybe, it could be a timse skip , like Jin was in a universe and then went to another one/ a diffrent time/ the same surroundings...

'Love' is making a comeback in BTS's work after two albums, BUT, if you can notice, the boys are thinking about each other and missing each other. Then they find new friends who are girls. The girls inspire them (Namjoon's girl working hard, Jhope's girl) ,protect them (Yoongi's girl giving him lollipops instead of cigarettes), rekindle feelings in them (jungkook's girl making him come out of his shell, V wanting to protect the bad girl who was stealing because she's probably going through a rough patch just like our bad boy;V the street artist who breaks the law - thats their connection), care for them (Jhope's girl). The last line shows how after feeling betrayed by all these close friends who went their separate ways and in Jhope's case, being abandoned by his mom is causing them to doubt and fear new commitment and new love. All of them feel that they can't be loved, and if they are loved, they will be betrayed. But to love love another, one must first, love oneself. This is what the reels mean. Its about finding affection again. The whole concept is NOT a love line thing. Its idea of doubt and fear in relationships. BTS shows us that even with lyrics that sound like love songs in Young Forever, in the MVs, love is much more than just love between man and woman. Hence my quote on quote on love. just want to bring attention to the insane filmmaking happening here.
some of these shots are mirrors to ones we've seen before- i'm not going to sit here and analyze each one cause i'm actually thinking of doing a video essay- BUT the attention to detail and how things are framed (literally from a cinematography stand point) can tell us so much about these storylines and characters themselves. Nothing was done by accident- this drama is going to be so well done.
Even the tiny detail of that first shot of Hoseok opening his eyes should make you immediately think of his child self being told to close them and keep them shut- and where that got him. again, not going to go into deep analysis here BUT I'M JUST SO HYPE ABOUT THIS WHOLE THING OK.

another thought- if i do make an analysis video i think it's worth pointing out that some metaphors aren't worth picking apart to hell under a microscope, because they don't mean directly "this" or directly "that"- and it sometimes takes away from them to say that they do. some ideas are meant to be somewhat abstract. and some storylines are meant to serve as metaphors and not direct chronological outlines of a characters life (i think this is especially true in a lot of bts mvs). you feel me? but that said, there are a lot of amazing things going on that some people might miss, and certain narrative or metaphorical threads that absolutely play off one another that i'd love to explore. just nervous someone might make a similar video and post it first lol, then i'd feel weird posting mine. anyways thanks if you're still reading, i'm just rambling now lmao. fighting!

I am an international army so try my best to support BTS through social media like....... . Liking comments, liking videos. Sharing. Spreading positive things about them. I feel like social media isn't enough for some reason. I've never bought their album. I've never been to their concert ( although i know many international army's or army's who don't have a job...just like me, struggle with this same issue ). Like I could use this comeback as an example. I feel like i don't know much about it. I truly love BTS. I think their music is amazing. It makes me feel happy. All of the members are extremely beautiful BTS is also my favorite Korean boy group. It was in 2015 when I first discovered BTS, and ever since then I've been in love with them and their music.

There are already a lot of theories about the girls being bts' consciousness, guardian angels, reflections of themselves etc, but i wanted to add my own perspective:
In inu we see bts committing suicide, v killing his father etc, so i think the girls actually travelled back in time to stop those things from happening by getting the boys back together. (Maybe even with the help of Jin, who is possibly the only one alive)
The girl that drops her journal reminds jin of running away from the past and trying to leave problems behind. That, along with something that was written in the journal made him decide that he should instead confront the past (aka his past friends) just like he'll need to confront the girl to give the notebook back.
The girl in the hospital stops Jungkook from going too fast with his wheelchair in the crowded hallway, which possibly led to an accident the first time around.
The girl with Yoongi helps him get rid of his destructive habits, and later visits jungkook's hospital, in the hopes of getting him to remember their friendship. This causes jungkook to decide and call yoongi in the end (?)
The girl who's handing out flyers reminds Namjoon of his job at the gas station, and with it the memories of his friends who (as seen in prologue, inu) have visited it, and the memories they shared there. This is why he is intrigued by the girl and seemingly follows her.
Tae's girl is committing a crime, just like he used to do, and he pays for the things she's stealing, in a way redeeming himself of the crimes and the murder he would have committed.
Hoseok's girl represents a motherly/sisterly figure that he is missing, and she is maybe even his adoptive sister, so when she baked him a cake, it was actually for his adoption date.
Jimin is seemingly intrigued by the girl because he cares about Hoseok and aspires to be that kind of figure for him, so he is observing the girl and trying to learn from her.
And hopefully, the boys will all be successfully reunited in the end, and all of this will have a happy ending!

Someone pointed out on twitter that the girl Namjoon is following is very similar to taehyung's sister that we saw previously in STIGMA, maybe that's why RM is following her, to take care of her because he can't do the same to Taehyung who run away. Jungkook recognised the melody that Yoongi's girl was singing because he probably was the one to make that song with Suga (as you can see in 1:58 it looks like JK was giving SG instructions to make a high note and SG goes like 'yeah that sounds cool') and after seeing the lighter he recognized it as Yoongi's and maybe got help from her to contact him (the phone call at the end). As for JH and JM, well personally I don't think that Jhope is in love with the girl, in the last video he seemed confused when she brought him the cake'but it's not my birthday' he said and it seems that the focus with his story line will be about his relationship with his mom rather than something else. As for Taehyung I think that Tae is keeping the girl by his side to protect her and make sure not to fall in troubles just like he did, maybe she reminded him of his little sister/his old self or something... We didn't get to see Jin's girl but what confuses me the most about his part is the fact that he was aiming first to wear somehow casual clothes to change it later to a formal suit (???) like why the sudden change.
EDIT: or maybe, it could be a timse skip , like Jin was in a universe and then went to another one/ a diffrent time/ the same surroundings...
it says that the happiest things lead to sudden fear or something like that at the end so I feel like yoongis phone call was probably something bad. (also it was really cute how he sort of fell off the couch tho
maybe Yoongi didn't know that JK got into car accident, so the fact that JK is in a hospital could be the something bad he will be hearing, althought that might be the most obvious answer so we will have to wait for tomorrow's clip and see
I think he changed into a suit because he wanted to meet her again at the train stop and maybe give her the book she dropped in the previous video. He could have a crush on her so he wants to impress her by looking good hence the changes in clothes
the Soekjin in the suit looked somehow older and more mature, well I know it maybe just the style that gave that impression but it also maybe because that Jin was another Jin in a diffrent time ( a time skip kind of thing...) lol does that even make sense.. T.T
